The Miami Heat introduction back in 2010-2011 season had the song as their theme for that year. Same with "All of the Lights"

I'd like for them to go back to existing players and polish them-- Kobe, backups like Fisher (if he's still playing) and Toney Douglas. Maybe do all the assistant coaches and training staff if they haven't already. Hah.

What's crazy is that I spotted real-looking non-players on the Houston bench, and wondered if they were real life assistants and trainers. I was so used to 2K only modelling people realistically if they were important or "somebody", and all non-important people looking like generic low-poly cartoon PS2 people.

Then it struck me that almost EVERYONE looks like a real person, including the camera man! Everybody is a somebody!
They probably have a system similar to Gran Turismo, key word premium/standard. As far as I'm concerned, I've seen 4 players that likely won't be touched in further releases because they look about 99.9% spot on with the technology that the modern world provides. Those players are LeBron, Harden, Durant and Rose. Especially Durant and Rose shocked me, they look just perfect...it's absolutely beautiful.
I can't tell you exactly why but somehow Kobe looked kinda 95% to me, as well as Iggy. They are near perfect but they didn't got me wood like the above mentioned did. But watching Nick Collision, who seems pretty much on par with Kobe in the visual way and who is a role player in this league, gave me the feeling that most players will have that 'near perfect' or 95% look. Yes, there was Toney Douglas but the guys at 2k are humans, no wizards.

What I wanna say is that I belive 2k will 'upgrade' certain players visually over the years for a coherent look on the court and if LeBron is the level to reach, they have work to do for coming years. I don't think they'll be bored anytime soon.

Plus, you can always improve at least something. And if they decide to put real life looking cheerleaders in the game, good for us. And as you already stated, there are always some rookies to create year in year out.

I'm just hoping they showed some love for my Nugget players.

I am anxious to see what generated rookies and CAPs look like. They need to take a big step forward visually, otherwise they will stand out like a sore thumb even worse than they do now.

Do you guys really think they fixed wingspans for EVERY player, or just Durant?

Also do you guys think that we actually have home and away accessories, or 2K just edited that way for the trailer?

I think we have seen other companies pull that nonsense but 2k has not been one of them
Actually this is not true... sadly, the MLB 2k guys pulled it back when MLB 2k6 was making a run for next generation. The shot of Derek Jeter making the play to first. Can't find it otherwise I'd post it.

But really, that's one of the only times. And the NBA guys have definitely never done it.

Just curious if anybody can tell e for sure.. I was watch the Heat/Nets preseason game last night and got a good look at LeBron's new tat across his front shoulders...

Thought I saw the answer posted before but will this be getting updated? Hopefully they have a lot of details down for ALOT of the players, not just stars... I think it makes everybody stand out on their own more, more unique... accessories, tattoos, hairstyles, sig styles, etc

I also want to know this, for a some what no name player like Brandon Wright will his wingspan be noticable in the game?? And for the accessories this is the first time I ever seen a 2k trailer where there wasnt obvious errors in the accessory department, so hopefully there is an option this year to edit them.

If they show an in game screenshot of Jordan in next gen, just to confirm classic teams are in the game I think OS would errupt maybe even more so then the 2k11 announcement.

I really hope to be wrong, but I think that team colors 1 and 2 are sadly still there. Take a look at Lakers players shoes, just yellow and purple colors; that's what causes kobe wearing a YELLOW undershirt on.

-Heat Home Jersey is missing black lining on side
-Some players faces are off proportionally (KD, LeBron's fat face, Kobe, Westbrook)
-James Harden's beard goes through his jersey
-None of Kobe's skin match each other
-(in my opinion) Everyone has colossal @ss feet
-Russell Westbrook's foot goes through the court
-KD & Iggy's arms go through the backboard
-LeBron jumped outside of the gym on that block
*point being, no game is perfect. Stop bashing NBA Live*

Something that just amazes me is the progressions of graphics with this series. I remember when I first saw screens from 2k6 on the 360 and I thought "It can't get better then this". Just amazing how far everything has come in such a short period of time.

For Comparison

2k6
Spoiler

2k14

I will be curious to discover whether classic teams made the cut. I've heard folks suggest it's been confirmed that they would in fact be present. But even then, I feel like it's more than possible that 2K might only bring a few classics to the next generation, such as the Bulls, Celtics, and Lakers.

I am hopeful they all make the jump. I'd hate to see the classics abandoned in any fashion.

I believe you don't have to worry about that my friend. If I'm correct they said everything from the CG will be in the Next Gen. But not Crew Mode.

lol really if a game is trash a game is trash. Sure every game has issue's no game is perfect. When you have a company putting out a suppose next gen game, that looks like an enhanced ps360. EA is gonna have a hard time here, that's just the way it is. You had 4 yrs to put something out playable and you couldn't do that. Take your butt kicking and come up with something better.

I think people are missing the point that this isn't the finished product. The jersey errors are confirmed to be fixed and I'm sure majority of the things you listed were looked at as well.

True no game will ever truly be like real life but we hope we get something very very close

I would if they would stop making it so damned easy.

And, to echo some other commenters in this thread, next gen legends por favor.

I really can't get over how real this game looks.

Someone please help me...Is it even worth buying the current gen or just wait for the next gen version? I feel like I need my basketball fix, but after seeing the trailer i don't want anything less
