What puzzles me is that i went back and watched the first trailer with Cavs and Knicks and it looks nothing like this. Almost looks like two different games. What is EA trying to prove? A good way to tell is by looking at the jersey movement. Steve Nash's Jersey looks glued to him like NBA Live 10 /11/13. Kyries jersey is moving freely off is body. Did they really show us an old build, and why?
Not surprising lol seems like the footage of Madden is like 2 or 3 different games from E3 to the trailers to the ESPN promo vids. I don't get how EA Sports could try to pull this again, like the 2006 Madden situation was forgotten about or something lol
If that's how it's going to look I'm wondering why they didn't just put it on the ps3/360, because that's what the graphics look like. After seeing the impressive 2K14 next gen trailer, I didn't even bother buying the current gen version. I figured I'd hang on to 2K13/Live 10 until I have the money for a ps4.
I was thinking the same thing. Why the heck isn't this on the ps3 and 360? Why does nash look like Mike Dunleavy Jr? Why can't the players straighten their backs? Were shots fired?
how can anyone make any in depth analysis based of of this video. There isnt much to go on from this tease. Ill have to wait till Friday to pass any judgement.
Honestly it's just a poorly made teaser--nobody is hype to play as Nash and throw up floaters and the music doesn't go with that action. Maybe some Mozart for Nash. This was hurried.
Oh goodness that kinda looked bad....but at least it's showing my blazers...we asked for gameplay and they about to deliver, more than we can say about 2k at this point.
You can tell this is an early build of the game. The scorers table only has one person there. I did like the lighting and the arena. I like how LaMarcus Aldridge played the screen and roll. Also, if you pause the video at exactly :06 right before Nash does his floater in the lane, you can see in-game Lillard who looks really nice, we expect that, but still good though. I think the only thing that wrong with this trailer is the player movement. It's the way they shift their feet and how slow they are moving. But I still think this is an early build of the game. It doesn't have that next gen feel to it. Hopefully this isn't the finished product.
I have a feeling that the difficulty is on easy. If you look at the trailblazers, they looked unsure on defense. they were just walking, lillard was lost. that negro was crab walking and timid as hell. Has to be user controlled or has to be on pro. I'll wait til friday to make a judgement game might play well, but I told yall...Shakedown2012 never lie
Still though, I'm impressed. I think it will slightly be better than live 10, the hype will end up hurting them though
Honestly, the first thing that came to my mind after watching this trailer was Yukes WWE debacle. The color of the railings remind me of that and so does the skin tone of the players.
I couldn't figure out what the skin of the payers remind me of, until you said the WWE games.. That's exactly what it reminds me of.. The other basketball game actually looks like skin.
I'm glad they fixed the net, that alone is a much needed improvement. I mean if this game plays better than Live 10 along with the features they've touted I'd say they're in good shape for the future.

2k announced their releasing something tomorrow, they had to shift the attention to them, so yeah may have been rushed, but good strategy imo

The net is worse imo, should be looser and thicker.
All I see is people who want to hate this game taking any and all opportunities to hate on this game. We've barely seen anything in any of these trailers - why are they so many people desperately hoping for it to fail? What do you have to gain from that? Do you guys have stock in 2K?
Or do you think lack of competition benefits consumers? It never has, and never will.
All I know is my friend and I had a lot of fun playing Live 10 - and none of the 2K games, with all they have going for them, were as fun as Live to us.

I had a lot of fun with Live 10 too...just a few glitches away from being a great basketball game for its time back in '09. But that has nothing to do with this trailer...nor does any other game. The trailer looked bad. Hopefully what we see on Friday looks better.
that was brutal to watch.. all the things that people didnt like from previous lives reared their head in this short clip alone. the slowness of live 07, hunchbach running.. ball thru the middle of the hoop etc...
