The stills look really good until you see the horrible defensive stance by help defenders! I don't even know what to think right now, I am pretty disappointed.
Look how weird his upper body looks in the shot of him pointing.

Actually when you look at those last two screenshots it doesnt look bad at all! Admittedly i know 2k will look much better and thats the one im getting on launch, but still not as bad as it could have been

Look at the two guys covering the corners. They don't look like they are even involved in the game.
Man this hurts....what a bummer. This has to be Live 13. I am praying to god and hoping this is a sick joke. Well at least we finally got to see the ball go through the hoop which actually was the best looking part of the trailer.
First reaction was WTH they couldn't make a better Nash? But I like fluidity of the shooting and ball handling, definitely want to try out this game. I can get past players looking video-gamish if the gameplay feels right.
How can this be "terrible"? The player models are much improved over current gen, in my opinion. Lamarcus looks a TON better. It isn't going to look like 2k, guys...
You can tell this is an early build of the game. The scorers table only has one person there. I did like the lighting and the arena. I like how LaMarcus Aldridge played the screen and roll. Also, if you pause the video at exactly :06 right before Nash does his floater in the lane, you can see in-game Lillard who looks really nice, we expect that, but still good though. I think the only thing that wrong with this trailer is the player movement. It's the way they shift their feet and how slow they are moving. But I still think this is an early build of the game. It doesn't have that next gen feel to it. Hopefully this isn't the finished product.
I was hoping this was an early build too but remember what Sean O'Brian said....they wanted to wait and show the finished product...no disclaimers.
Well, at least now we know why they waited so long to release a video.
That looks awful.
I lol'd. This is a bit disappointing lol it's worse because it makes me think that Madden next gen will look as underwhelming as it has in the espn videos, and that what we saw at E3 isn't what we're getting

This ain't no early build, this is the game, who in world would show u an inferior product right around launch. This is why they waited so long to show this game off, it looks and moves like crap. EA just wants your hard earned money
What puzzles me is that i went back and watched the first trailer with Cavs and Knicks and it looks nothing like this. Almost looks like two different games. What is EA trying to prove? A good way to tell is by looking at the jersey movement. Steve Nash's Jersey looks glued to him like NBA Live 10 /11/13. Kyries jersey is moving freely off is body. Did they really show us an old build, and why?

This would have been acceptable as NBA Elite 11, but passing this off 4 years later as NBA Live 14 is just bad.

I'm not even trolling when I say this, but that looks worse than current gen 2K14. Those Kyrie screens we've been seeing for the past 5 months look way better.... I guess I was foolish to expect that.
But I will reserve my final judgement until Friday when they show the full 5 on 5 trailer. But from what we've seen from both 2K and Live, 2K is far more impressive.
