For the RB ?

Right trigger or R2 if you on PS3.

Block and release is right stick down

Never seen so many white WR’s and RB’s b4 in an ncaa game. LOL. Its crazy. Every team has at least a couple, and the last recruiting class I had, the top rb and wr were both white. 3 of the 5 5 star rb prospects were white. Cmon now. Cats named obidah with 99 speed and white dudes with last names like Muhammad…

I just wonder why? Its laughable really. I used to really enjoy finding that rare white wr or rb. Hell, most of the time I had to change someone position or use an athlete to get one. Now they’re everywhere. Takes the fun out of it.

Btw --- you had the urge to create a league full of white wr’s and rb’s but a brotha still can’t get a Samoan? Really?

Wait.. What?

There are marginal changes, but they are no game changers. Too damn generic. The Infinity engine is a sloppy mess. It's just 1 on 1 tackling with defenders running into ball carrier like mindless robots. The assisted tackles don't record no more. It's just sloppy looking football.

13 was a lot smoother. I can't see this game or Madden in my PS3 trey all year over games like NBA 2K or The Show. Another wasted year. Hopefully they learn their lesson this gen and won't waste 7 more years of mediocre gameplay.
Did u just say 13 was a lot smoother? I played 13 a total of 2 hours and traded it. Ive played the demo every day. No way in hell can i take ur opinion seriously. Have fun playing 13 for an entire year.

The new O-Line play is just so sweet as it actually matters about ratings this year.

I've been testing things in practice and when you put a random low rated player to block at any of the line positions you will see he easily gets beat and pushed backwards on a constant basis. Put you're regular stater back in and watch as he actually can handle his block

It works for either tackle position and is again awesome

Omg! I cant stand seeing a white player named delvin muhammad, or a black player named Dick Thumberpatch. And ur right... Not enough samoans in the game.

I have only had encroachment on the offense penalties...ah also one late hit on the QB

those were early games...so less than 5 penalties total when i played the entire season on 5 min quarters.

As for recruiting goes...i am the offensive coordinator (Might have something to do with less penalties since i do not play defense)...

Anywho...Is there any way to give promises? I know it is an option in this years game like last year...but i am not seeing it. Only scholarship and work up to a visit

Anyone?

------you can view your promises in team management...but still nothing on how to give them
Might have something to do with my lack of experience playing this game series though

Some impressions through 4 games- screens are called too often on third downs. Next to NO penalties called aside from roughing passer when it's set to 55. No other penalties called yet beside one face mask in one game

Another impression- very rarely do u read to GIVE on a read option. It's usually 99% a keep for the QB and there's huge running lanes...

IE 2.0 + 55 on the roughing the passer slider =Flop City

After a fair amount if scoring plays, the camera just fixates on the ball in the endzone. No celebration or replay or anything..

umm when a ball hits the uprights its still a live ball isnt it? I just had a play where the CPU threw the ball away towards the back of the end zone. It hit the upright and the CPU caught it. Should have been a TD right?

I just really, really, really want defenders to play zones better. And for some reason any pass rush from the line in a 4-3/standard nickel completely disappears when you go zone. Even on a man to man with pure coverage in the secondary play the d-line seems way more effective.

First off the game has potential in a lot of ways, trying to enjoy the game but the ball hawking is way too crazy, it's too easy all players do to intercept a ball is press circle and the hold triangle. The defender will pick it almost every single time. The online multiplayer seems to be on very slow, when you return kicks the returner runs about 1 mph don expect to get past the 25. The physics are nice cuts are smooth but qbs are trucking and running over LBs and DE's. I can't seem to get the heat seeker tackling to work my defenders dive bomb all over the place. Just wanna have a good time playing some NCAA

Zone coverage needs some major tuning. Players do not react to players or when the ball is thrown in their zone. They typically wait for the ball or player to come to them instead of react. I even turn the aggressive adjustment on and try that, only to see my defenders spectate.

The oline and dline interaction is done quite well; I can not wait to see what next gen brings to improve on the improvements in place. The option plays are nice; Hard to stop, but possible if you make adjustments and focus on the other player. Total control passing has been toned/tuned down, which is nice; No longer do you have to worry about covering a post and post corner route at the same time.

The new dynasty features bring a new sense of accomplishment to the game the coaching skills which replace the dynasty accelerators give everyone a fair chance in an online dynasty. The running game takes getting used to with the new stamina bar, but once you get the running game down you will enjoy it. Tackling has to be the most difficult new feature having to decide whether to lay a huge impact hit on smaller ball carriers or to take out the legs of a much larger ball carrier takes some adjusting to. Big hits are better than ever and I guarantee every one is going to enjoy it.

Id like to meet the guy that said 256mb of ram in a PS3 was the way to go. I hate menu lag. Even pressing start in a game take 5 seconds for you to be able to do anything.

Liking the new running game, but have yet to experiment with a powerback. Been having connection issues so I limited my amount of online games and only was able to get done with a usc vs Oregon. Ended up losing by giving up 3 big plays. The other game I got a quarter past was USC vs texas tech connection cut off about 3minutes in so I could not take too much out the game.

Other than the online I was able to get a few games of a custom dynasty in and just add teambuilder teams to the sun belt. Notice the presentation still doesn't comment on any created team during the pre game presentation. The revamp recruiting system still kind of bummed me out, but seem like it a step in the right direction for upcoming ncca title by improving it into a mini recruiting rpg game for the next version.

I don't think I will be getting this game. The reason is you can run the ball anytime you want to and get 5 to 10 yds even on heisman. Sometimes the cpu will stop you, but more times than not you will get good yardage. I'm glad I got season ticket because it saved me some money. I've been loyal to this franchise for a long time, and getting fed up with ea. If you like the game, then by all means purchase.

It's really a shame this game had potential, but it is what it is.
This is just my humble opinion.
