I'm not a fan of the wide camera so far. It looks a lot like NCAA Football 10's camera, and I didn't like that game.

This demo is fantastic so far

How is the CPU playcalling? Are you guys noticing a lot of screens on 3rd down by the CPU?

Really looking forward to downloading tonight for both systems, although the PS3 demo will probably take 12 hours to complete, lol.

Played 2 games, one as VT one as Oregon.

Good
- The intros are actually pretty cool. I noticed Bama's had some music that sounded more southern, a small but cool detail
- WR Matchup is really cool. As Oregon, my TE had a decent advantage over the LB, and A&M paid the price
- Coordinator cam is nice
- Cuts, spins, stiff arms etc. all feel really cool
- Kick returns are a lot of fun
- Deep balls seem mostly ineffective
- Great clock management by the CPU. Bama faced a 4th and 15 on their own 45, but there was only about 6 seconds on the clock. Rather than punt, they tossed up the Hail Mary
- Gameplay as a whole is smoother

Bad
- No penalties
- Sidelines look bad
- There was a glitch where the ball carrier was brought down on top of a defender, and the game did not count him as down. The ballcarrier got back up and continued running.

Also I love how I played as a defensive tackle and i totally drove the lineman back into the running back with a bullrush. Damn I might mess around and buy this game. The run game is SICK with the hard cuts

Some quick thoughts:

**Were did the Pass Rush slider go?

- Am I crazy, or does the QB's seem to have different throw styles?

- QB actually threw the ball on a roll-out closer to the LOS as I left my man to make the tackle (really cool to see that)

- As advertised, the AI seems to go to it's Stars and mis-match's

- Must max out the Pass Lead Sensitivity to enable throwing to an area (default is at 50)

- Will need to max Impact Blocking to get more cut/decleat animations

- Must tune Def PI to be greater; actually got called for an Illegal Touching of all calls!!!

- Height actually means something for WR's (will still need to lower Jump for DB's a little

- Acceleration looks to mean more than actual Speed (prob controls how long burst will be)

- Will have to lower Speeds across the board so that the Black Mamba's can stand out a little more in this dept

-STAMINA: just love it; got hawked down because I used it too early

- Turned down tackling for both to "10", opened the door for more animations to trigger

- Got my TE killed going across the middle (pretty animations through out this interactive sequence, he should've been carted off)

- Still need to adjust the PAT/Punt Block to occur more frequently as well as ball physics

- Momentum is definitely in play in some good and bad ways
**the only bad is that WR's are slow to animate after the catch back up-field (will need to test if higher Agility rating will improve)

- Simply can't wait to get under-the-hood with this game!!!

The Oregon/A&M game I just played, the play calling was awesome for the CPU. I would start bringing the heat (blitzing more) to get pressure on Mariotta on 3rd down, and then Oregon adjusted and started screening me with Thomas. Then when I stopped bringing the heat, they went back to how they were before with the slants, comebacks, and a few deep balls. I've never seen adjustments like that from the CPU AI.

PS3 All-American

Ok I was destroying Texas A&M in the 1st half went into halftime up 21-0 but in the 2nd half Manziel and the Aggies D stormed back and tied it up at 21 with about 20 seconds left they make me punt and on the first play the defensive pressure forced Manziel into a bad throw and it was intercepted when i sent my field goal team out they called a timeout and iced me the kick meter was covered in ice and the camera was zoomed in on the kicker and when i kicked the camera dramatically followed the ball first it curved left then back in and hit the goal post for the game winning field goal

Loving this game so far also love the coordinator cam

I may be going crazy, but did any other NCAA demos have names in them?

They attempt to cut around their blockers if you run into them.

Anyone having problems with no huddle being sluggish? When the CPU goes no huddle the playcalling menu doesnt pop up right away. By then it's too late the CPU snapped the ball.

played 2 games on all american. lost 28-0 to VT. Lost 24-14 to TAMU.

positives- game looks great. option plays are fun

negatives- holy turnovers batman! my team fumbled 3 times in one game and 4 times in the other game. thats absurd.

running the ball with the HB is almost impossible.

Wr's not playing the ball leading to INT's

overall. I want to like it, but I'm not impressed. I'll play the demo a couple more times to see if it grows on me

Very True!

Played another game. Pretty enjoyable so far. Still dont understand why the controls per snap are different from madden.

Game seems pretty good this year. Only issue I saw the whole game was my Defense didn't change assignments when cpu offense went no-huddle and changed formation. My rolb was covering the tight end on the opposite side of formation while the RB was covered by my SS. needless to say the RB ran a out toward the ROLB and was wide open.

They do run into the O-line, especially when your line gets pushed into the backfield. The AI should, however, attempt to "slide" off it. Not literally "slide" but kinda put their hand on the back of the lineman and then slide-out to one side or the other.

# 120 SageInfinite @ 06/18/13 05:11 PM
Gotta say these intros are garbage, lol. They could at least use animations that happen in the game like NBA 2k does instead of strictly cut scene stuff. I like the direction but lazy effort. Presentation as a whole is just one big missed opportunity as usual.
