Just played Bama-VT on Heisman offense, AA defense.. played a half with each team

-after playing Madden forever this feels a little sluggish, seems like the cuts take too long. It did feel smoother than Madden and past NCAA games but just felt slow imo
-commentary is still horrendous
-colors are nice like every else said
-had a couple of long bombs where the WR didn't even try to catch it, the DB either intercepted or dropped it.. no battling
-those cams are definitely different
-ended up turning the crowd all the way up and commentary down and it still lacked a little
-VT's QB had some insane scrambles but also a few 'should have been tackled' plays as well, got hung up on his linemen a few times

game ended with Bama winning 24-14.. my feeling is meh so far

I'm not seeing many sacks, heisman diff and user control safety maybe that's why

Braxton miller can straight up burn you

Just play my first game. I used A&M against Oregon. Wanted to see if the Ducks could actually move the ball.

All-American difficulty.

Good
- I liked the game speed and foot planting a lot.
- the CPU run game and run blocking were much, much better.
-I had a pass sail on me pretty bad on a play. That's default QB accuracy.
- I like the new fatigue and Acceleration.
-passing was more realistic. I couldn't run outs and curls easily just because the DB's played back. They came up aggressively.
-user run blocking was better/more realistic. Not easier just better.
-physics ingine was good. Much improved over Madden 13.
- KR's were better.
- didn't notice any game breaking glitches.
- I used the RE and the RE pass rush glitch seems to be gone. I noticed more pass rush moves.
-CPU ran the option very good.
-CPU almost blocked one of my punts

Bad
-CPU ran RB screens terribly. He held the ball to long and got sacked most of the time. Did better on WR screens.
- the small CPU RB seemed to break too many tackles to get yards instead of evading the d to get yards.
-CPU pass game was pretty bad. Maybe Heisman is better.
- no penalties all game.
-not enough separation between plays as far a speed for me.

I won 7-3. It was a fun game. Very good for a demo. Only one game but, I'm impressed so far.

The run game is awesome. I just love how the running back automatically cuts for me instead of gliding

1.5 more hours of work. Straight about to bust reading these excellent reviews.

I am absolutely impressed with everything so far. The CPU AI on both offense and defense is at a level never seen in this series.

Spread option and triple option teams are legit threats now in every aspect.

Blown away EA. outstanding demo.

Oregon's zone read with Mariota and DAT is unstoppable. Just had a 82 yard touchdown run with Mariota.

More impressions:

- I'm getting my butt kicked by OSU right now, 17-0 and I love it.
- They are running the RB screen all over me right now. They've converted at LEAST twice with it on third and longs.
- I'm playing this game on Zoom camera, and while it's not nearly as good to run the game strategically, boy does it look great.
- The speed of the game feels perfect. I felt a DE coming on my left side, so I sprinted out of the pocket and cut up field for a first down. It just felt fantastic.

Finally, I just saw the coolest plays back to back - both of which never would have happened in 13. The first was a hand-off to OSU's RB. The middle was jammed, so he cut outside (CPU cutting outside? Yes please) and had a 2-2 situation. A TE was blocking a corner on the outside, and one of my LB'ers was chasing him from the middle. He used his speed to break away from the linebacker and took the block from his TE to break free for another fifteen yards or so to the five yard line.

The next play, B. Miller holds the ball in the pocket and dropped back. I chase him down with a DE and force him to run. Normally, I would have had him easy, but I shifted to the right and he made a hard cut left, leaving my defender in the dust. That is REALLY going to add a whole new dimension to the game.

How is special teams this year??? Any closer to block kicks / punts or still the same?

Lost my first two games on heisman, trying a game on AA with all user sliders at 30 and all CPU sliders at 80. In a dogfight with Bama it feels great.

NCAA is back

First impression, everything is SMOOTH. Running feels great, playing as a DL is so much better, you don't get the same interaction over and over and just feels better.

# 77 This Is Michigan @ 06/18/13 04:41 PM
Michigan has gray facemasks.....

No more team entrances, EA still has the wrong road jersey for Michigan and STILL the same goalpost huggy that replaced in 2007!

For the graphics lovers out there with both consoles, the XBOX version is a little cleaner around the edges (player models on the field) and it may "pop" more than the PS3, but the PS3 does look good on both plasma and LCD displays. The field and field art are improved on both consoles. No real visible jaggies on the field like last year.

So far, this is the "next gen" NCAA we have been waiting on. I am more than happy in the early stages today.

How are those pesky Hokies?

After trying all four, I can see myself only using normal cam and coordinator cam. Coordinator cam is great for offense I'm still adjusting to it on D
