Seeing and hearing some folks say ghetto menu is getting on my nerves. It's like a hidden way of being racist or something to me. What is so ghetto about the menu or jay-z in the demo? When I play hockey or baseball games, I don't make comments towards the choice for that game.

Pros

Improved graphics, animations, better passing, authentic player signature skills, and love the presentation before game of downtown Miami. The defense is AMAZING as are some of the blocks I made with Lebron...very hard if you time them correctly.

Cons:

No sweat coming off players, no player introductions prior to game like in earier 2k versions, crowd animations and reactions are still whackadoo, ghetto looking menus.

Overall a major overhaul...kudos 2K!
You realize this is a demo right? Menu art and player intros wont be in Demos.

It's petty and I don't think people should get hung up on these gripes. It's a video game and I think some people lose sight of that. But Bosh definitely was moved without intention.

I didn't want to keep harping on it because of well... exactly what you said in the last paragraph, pretty much

That said, I still counted 4 steps, 2 backwards, and 2 for a gather to jump...

I know that scenario could've played out more than one way, which is why I said I understood where he was coming from, but momentum was definitely not on Bosh's side

Please tell me that players biting on pump fakes on their own is because of the defensive assist strenght slider. It's horrible getting owned when you didn't do anything wrong.

Seriously??? smh

Just watched some XBOX 360 gameplay of the demo (I'm a PS3 user). All I'm worried about is the the possibility of people overusing the self alley-opp and turning a the match into a streetball game.

I like the demo and I like the controls; however, I feel as though it may take some time to master them.

Does anyone know if there will be an option to revert back to last year's controls in the full version?

The give and go plays are just lovely. And Westbrook is just a beast. I can see that athletic point guards are going to be a problem if you don't have a lock down defender on them.

It's about match ups now! Match-ups Match-ups Match-ups!

This has nothing to do with the dress code; this is the new "in" thing.

I agree with those who aren't fond of the menu and music. It feels a bit like a contrast in style. I don't mind the music but from the first time I saw the scoreboard layout and the menu it just felt wrong and it still does.

Also I hate the Sprite dunk meter, already annoyed with it.

I drew a charge /faint

Really like the new controls, but it's going to take me some time to learn it all, trying to master FIFA and new 2k system is going to be tough.

Also, just watched another 2k13 demo video by AntoDaboss. It's called Russell Westbrook 3 Point Pistols Ritual. 2k has done us a favor...

After about a million ranked games, I seriously need the 2K camera. Broadcast is great and I can score efficiently, but defensively, I need a better method toward stopping the rainbow cheesers. I've always used 2K cam for that, hmm.

The glasses, yeah. But all the other stuff is the classic "let's play with the rules a little bit" Have you ever seen Westbrook wearing something like that outside press conferences?

I think they should have left the in game like in a gameplay things more true to tv. Thats my only thing i see wrong with the Jay Z Artistic influence in the game.

Unless gold is what is going on this year on tv then i will buy into it.

Some of the music choices are a bit bad with lyrical content.
I think it should have been looked at when selling a wide market product.

I'm a hip hop dj so don't get it twisted .. Im just giving a opinion.

You guys move on and leave nothing but demo impressions in here please

I'm am loving the dribble stick. When you get used to it it's great. I think peoples problem is that they are trying to chain to many crazy moves together. And doing it way to fast, and when it isn't necessary. Being that we only get 1 quarter ppl feel rushed. I know I did when I started playing earlier. But once you settle down and concentrate on getting specifc moves down everything will start flowing.

SN: These gold menus should only be for the NBA Finals. PC guys are lucky.

I liked the demo, it'll take some time to get used to but I'm excited for 2K as always and have my pre order ready to go!
