Just in time for the NBA 2K13 demo, which arrives tomorrow. Check out the controls trailer.

Gameplay Producer, Mike Wang (Beluba) has chimed in with the following update (Post #24).

Quote:
just fyi... some of the controls are incorrect in this trailer:

Bounce Pass = LT+A
Behind the Back = RS away from hoop

As for shots, the trailer just shows how to execute some of the new shots with the face buttons. Shot Stick controls are completely different. For example:

Hop Step Layup = LT+Double Tap RS left or right
Euro Step Layup = LT+Throw RS one way then back the other

Yungsta404 It's a trailer showing off some of the offensive moves that can be accomplished. It would not make sense to show a bunch of unsuccessful spin dunks, step backs, or crossovers resulting in turn overs or blocks if it's mostly a highlight trailer for offense. I wouldn't get too stressed just yet..

I think 2K may have it right this year you can do everything with advanced controls and face buttons. I think I will go full control stick. Some of yall are too worried based off last year. We actually have true counters this year on the defensive side. There is no way they gave us this control and no way to stop it. Some of it will be stopped by elite defense, some of it will be stopped because the player doesn't have the skill or success rate high enough to perform the move. Just because you can press the button does not mean you will have success at the move.

Some people will be trying to cheese and just setting themselves up for turnovers and easy fast breaks

Playing against the computer all day is not my idea of fun. You have your view i have mine. I ratger play against another human being than against a computer you can cheese as well. To each his own but don't say it like nobody cares for online GP

Where am I siding with one or another I said when your playing with sim ballers such as ECWorldWide and others you get a better experience then playing with randoms.

Maybe because for one 2k12 sucks *** and two 2k servers are terrible. If 2k online was up to par im sure people would flock to online mode. Its a difference between not going online cause the servers suck and not going online cause you rather play all by yourself.

Currently? At it's peak I recall seeing 90k+ on at any given time, despite the servers being a mess.
