Just in time for the NBA 2K13 demo, which arrives tomorrow. Check out the controls trailer.
Gameplay Producer, Mike Wang (Beluba) has chimed in with the following update (Post #24).
Quote:
just fyi... some of the controls are incorrect in this trailer:
Bounce Pass = LT+A
Behind the Back = RS away from hoop
As for shots, the trailer just shows how to execute some of the new shots with the face buttons. Shot Stick controls are completely different. For example:
Hop Step Layup = LT+Double Tap RS left or right
Euro Step Layup = LT+Throw RS one way then back the other
NBA2K13 X360 BASIC CONTROLS
Pass = A
Bounce Pass = LT & A (incorrect in trailer)
Alley OOP = X & A (Lstick chooses recipent)
Alley OOP = X & A (point at rim for OOP to self)
Crowd Dribbler = Hold LT (When near non-dribbling Ball handler)
Post Up = Y
Jump Shot = X
Normal Dunk = Hold RT then press X (While driving)
Steal = X
Take Charge = B
X360 ALL NEW CONTROL STICK
Crossover = Rstick Left (ball in right hand)
Spin = Rstick Twirl Clockwise
Behind the Back = Rstick away from hoop (incorrect in trailer)
Stutter Step = Rstick Toward Hoop
Hesitation = Rstick (ball in right hand)

X360 ALL NEW SHOT BUTTONS:
Hop Step Layup = “Lstick” sets hop direction Tap “B” then hold “X”
Rip Over Jumper = Press “B”, “Lstick” toward hoop then hold “X”
Step Back Jumper = Press “B”, “Lstick” away from hoop then hold “X”
Snatch Back Jumper = Press “B”, “Lstick” opposite momentum then hold “X”
Euro Step = Double Tap “X”
Spin Layup = Double Tap “B” then press and hold “X”

I don't know man, all the dribble moves done were performed successfully without the player getting stripped....must mean they are all completely unstoppable...

Where did you get these? The link to the manual still doesn't work
lol yall want this game to be like street fighter..pulling off combos just to do behind the back dribble move smh you cant win with people I swear loool
For many online players it's not really about the chess match of utilizing NBA players' skill set in a strategic fashion to win games, it about them beating players Mano a mano in a contest to see who has superior thumb dexterity.
Some of yall take this game WAY to seriously. It's a video game, not the end of the world. And to fix your problem Play OFFLINE instead of with cheeisers or play some people on OS.
A typo...hmmm...ironically X+A is usually my 'typo' on the controller. Happens every now and then. Hopefully, it doesn't get me in trouble with 2K13...
Their is a lot of people that play OFFLINE. Less Chesiers, Better Game Play, Custom Rosters. You should look in the roster subfourms their thousands of comments about custom offline rosters for NBA 2K12. I also said in my comment you should check out playing on OS, I played online a little last year, And when I played with people on OS it was really nice both are alternative methods to enjoying the game more.
