The user wasn't using broadcast camera.

Really like how the camera pans out and then zooms back in as the ball is being walked up court. Very subtle, yet nice presentation touch.

User was able to "force field" his way into the paint more than I would like with spins, although there were also some encouraging moments where the user was met with apporpriate resistance like at 1:50. I felt like there was appropriate contact with Wade driving into the paint and then forcing up a tough shot that went in.

Overall, feels like game speed is a tad too fast as somebody had mentioned, maybe a few clicks down from default should be fine.

When the ball was tipped around 4:40 and led to the Miami break, I feel like in real life LeBron would have had the speed to get past, or at least get into the hip of Gasol. He seemed a bit slower than I would have liked there.

i actually felt the game speed was a hair or two too slow.

They can use a little bit more work and I think its because of the baggy jerseys that makes them look chunky and the other reason why they look big is that camera setting is set on zoom in paint.

Love the blown dunks animations.

# 46 Noof @ 09/07/12 10:40 AM
I didn't like the way the CPU team played at all. Other than that it looked good.

At 9:31 when Nash is leading the fastbreak you can hear a defender say "Watch Nash! Watch Nash!" Great touch.

The collision detection on defense seems like it still needs a little more work and improvement. Also there still seems to be alot of skating on the court. It does look much better than 2k12 tho.

I only watched the first 45 seconds so I know this sounds bad , but first point is a dwight howard jumpshot and the second play pau gasol drives in from the 3 point line , or he tries to. Difference in that is that this year he is actually slow and stopped. I shall continue ...

Good news is the game looks smoother than a stick of Hot Butter!! Love some of the things Im seeing , the little things that make the difference. Just didnt like that start by the cpu.lol

Little quirks here and there, but the game sure does animate well....wow

Game looks so smooth, looks like an entirely new engine honestly

I wasn't as impressed by the CPU offense in this vid. With Kobe, Howard & Nash, I expect them to be more decisive, especially after seeing the Thunder/Heat vid. The spacing wasn't as good in this vid either. And the CPU missed a few open cutters.

But everything esle looked good. Player interaction is much improved. The contact in the paint resulted in a sufficient amount of misses & fouls. The dribbling looks sweet. The footwork is great. Animtions in general are much improved. How about Kobe's D on Wade's euro at 1:47?

The game just seems to play realistically. The Kobe/Wade match up was spot on. Each player would have problems defending the other. Kobe's size advantage & Wade's quickness advantage really showed. LeBron's strength was obvious. I would've like to see more of Howard in the paint.

I was hoping to see D. Howard block a shot but it's nice to see players actually trying to swat at the ball when inside the paint.

One thing that stood out to me was 2k seemed to ramp up the player voices. I heard more screaming and yelling in this video than maybe my entire time playing 2k12. And at the beginning when Howard makes that reverse layup and falls, it kinda actually sounds like him.

# 58 Guard-ian @ 09/07/12 11:19 AM
Pace is too fast.

Lebron scores every shot and he can force easily into the paint and even with Howard, Gasol and MWP there get the call and almost an and one... Cheesers, there you go!

I will be pretty dissapointed if you can not make a difference and impact on defense again this year, hopefully this will be on rookie level, if not, what a long year again...

To be honest, the game has potential and looks solid, but unfortunately it seems to be as cheesable as 2k12, so there will be no strategy, just run & gun and forcing into the paint with superstars, what a pity...

Same with the Lebron no call early in the video, he gets up in protest just like in real life. The whole little sequence with audio sounded so realistic.

just my thoughts and some nice things i noticed during the footage

THINGS I LIKED!
I really like new scoreboard overlay!
0:50 i noticed kobe creeping while directing player movement
1:05 kobe nice fluid realistic Jump shot
1:49 D-Wade euro step move looked a little slow for my liking
2:48 Nice statistical feature comparing LeBrons efficiency
4:08 Great pump fake animation by Kobe
5:45 Lebron throws an alley a little too high for Wade, resulting in Wade not completing the play & Nash and Kobe getting on break to complete a nice bounce pass play.looked very realistic
6:05 looked like Gasol tried to double Lebron
7:55 Lebron bringing ball upcourt ,he chose to attack M.World Peace,MWP forced him left LBJ drove again ball got lost...I have to give credit to the A.I defence here!
8:33 Crish Bosh excitement from the Bench after LeBron's nice dunk.

Overall there were times when i thought the Lakers looked a little lost & Confused on Offence, wasn't many fouls, and i didn't notice any signature abilities kick in...But i don't know what settings or sliders this was played on.The Gameplay was very smooth and looked a lot better than Footage of Early 2k12...

Clippers vs Celtics - NBA2k12 early footage!
