Thanks for the review wolf .

Hopefully the jump shot receives some last minute tweaks . I'm also glad to hear the defense got a overhaul like it deserved .

I'm quite sure those replays are similar to what Sprite Slam cam did last year, which had photo filters and effects.

^ Exactly. People just love to dump ideas that have ALREADY BEEN USED on people that have nothing to do with this. This same black and white thing was used in 2K11 for the post-game replay...but I guess blaming it on Jay-Z is easier for some people.

Black and white stylistic replays after a game is fine. Black and white during the game breaks realism and the live TV presentation. I hope it's just occasional and not on every dunk by a player with Nike + shoes.

It's okay for a replay to be dialed up and ready the MOMENT the dunk happens, but if the replay is black and white with some artsy fartsy thing done over it, that's going too far?

What strange breaks from reality limits you have.

can someone explain what button release is? Basically ur saying the shots are different when u hit the shoot button as opposed to shot stick timing? So in 2k12 when u take a jump shot with jump stick timing is still looks like ur taking a shot using the shootbutton and it has nothing to do with the timing of the sticks release?

Thanks DaWolf for sharing your impressions about the game.

Curious what you meant by "Ball feels a bit more loose this year". Last year the ball felt pretty loose to me, when going up for layups guys could strip you from behind, or strip the ball pretty easily out of your hands while dribbiling. I was hoping that it wouldn't be as bad this year.

Also I share you complaint about the jump shot releases. I liked them alot better in 2k11 and back when there was more of a release point when you had to release the ball. Now the jump shot animation feels almost too smooth.

This better not be the same damn situation where you dribble the ball in the paint and the ball automatically gets loose and you lose the ball just like in NBA Live 10. If you played NBA Live 10 then yall will know what I mean.

That ruined my experience with NBA Live 10, and I'm hoping that does NOT happen with NBA 2K13.

i'm hoping 'the ball feels more loose' means that when your using the 'Turbo' button, you don't have as much control over your dribble

eg; You start accelerating with the ball sideways!

Pretty happy to hear about the new collision system. Should bring a lot more realism within all aspects of the game. Also manual bounce passes? Very nice addition.

That weird replay thing makes me shake my head and I just can't stop it...

Dawolf how is the right stick dribbling compared to NBA ELITE 11 ?
Is it similar or completely different?
I played some demo of elite 11 today just to try this right stick dribble.. wanna know it cuz then i can practice those at ELITE demo :P

don't know why people are complaining about RAy Allen's shot. He has one of the quickest releases in the NBA

Thx man! Is it you playing or another person?

# 118 JasonMartin @ 08/16/12 09:55 AM
Does it matter who is playing? It's footage.

Defense is too late anyway. And we know it's default settings etc.

Is the net improved or is it me?
