And if you remember, was there any separation between the offensive player and defensive player on a fast break?

(Similar to getting beaten off the dribble and not being able to recover, were there any instances where the ball was stolen in the passing lane that led to an easy dunk/layup without being caught by the defender?)
1. yes I think there is a difference you can feel. cole was very quick with his dribbles
2. cant really comment on that with certainty

When you say blocks look better, are they being blocked out of the air or blocked right out of player's hands? And can I get runners off without fear of being blocked? Which completely negates the purpose of runners even existing in the first place...

I think most of them are changed a bit. What I didnt like was that lebron got his 2k11 leaning jump shot back. his 3 pointer wa the same as in 12. westbrook got the same but a little smoother, durant was better but as I mentioned pretty automatic to me.

Durant did a lot of them - I couldnt block them. But with the blocks we will have to wait and see if they are actually improved because I didnt see a lot.

Do the right players explode off the ground to the rim even when laying the ball up or do they still kinda jog and jump kinda half-speed? I mean, is there a visual difference between how Westbrook and LeBron attack the rim through traffic vs how Daequan Cook will try to lay it up?

On blocked shots, is it like 2k11 where huge blocks can happen with the right animation, or is it like 2k12 where some big wind-up blocks barely deflect the ball?

sorry have to go. I think you can really look forward to the game. im sure you will like it - its better than 12.

my main gripe was blocking! in 11 if a player had 99 block you wouldnt think about going in there! in 12 a player can have 99 block and do nothing! in 12 you literally have to have a high vert to block! if i have kg and his block rating is 99 and and his vert is 60 he wont block anything out of the air!
and players really dont look for the ball when blocking they just throw there hand up!
Is blocking more improved!?
in 11 you can get power blocks in 12 you just tap them

Sounds like he played 2k12 with 2k13 features

DaWolf, did you notice less robotic movements and new animations post-whistle? That was a big area of ambient presentation 2K was working on this year.

my question is about signature dribbling moves. In Live, every player had the same crossover. What I love about 2k is that each player handles the ball differently (some players put the ball through their legs, others don't, some dont even switch hands, etc.) Can u still see signature player moves with this new control mechanic?
