I for one am glad that I bought NCAA over this.

Nothing really blew me away. It isn't a bad game, but I don't think it is worth the money. Hopefully others enjoy it more than me.

Took a break from The Show to play the demo again. I still think this is going to be the best Madden in years. I know a lot of people have complained about the feel of the game, but it feels much better to me. Madden 11/12, I felt like I was skating all over the place. It feels much tighter now.

I did OK running up the gut (on All-Pro) and the CPU did fine too (I played with my no-switch rule on running plays).

Now I really have a hard time understanding how someone can say this. I am a much bigger NCAA fan when compared to the NFL. In fact I have not bought Madden since 2006 (only tried demo's) but have bought and played the hell out of NCAA since then since I thought it was equal or better than Madden. After playing Madden 2013 demo though, I cant play NCAA 2013 anymore. Upsets me that NCAA couldn't make a game near as good as this Madden which i think is the most fun I've ever had in a football game.

Depends on the rb, shoot the gaps and plug them up with your lbs and the DEs will do the rest

Sorry the demo is suppose to give me the "what to look Fwd to ". I understand about the finished product but dang. The demo is suppose to have me sold but it has me choosing redbox. No buy M13 this year.

After 4 days of playing a couple games a day, my opinion of the game has been raised greatly. I love playing defense for probably the first time ever. The Infinity engine is mostly responsible for that. But also the very slow speed changes the QB throwing power so it's is like the PS2 speed.

It's a tough game (The show) to take a break from huh? but the demo is fun too... Waiting till release day is driving me bonkers.

I prefer the game speed on slow as it makes my player feel more grounded when moving where normal feels too slippery making control more erratic. Don't know if they'll tweak normal game speed in the final product but so far slow feels more realistic.

Exactly. I switched to Very Slow on M11 because it helped with the skating feeling. Playing on Slow on the demo feels much better than it did on M11 or M12.

I can't believe how much fun I have playing this game. It's a blast. And I've read some comments complaining about the passing being too easy. The thing is, that's today's NFL. The powers at be wanted more scoring, and they've finally changed the rules to the point that they're getting it. What was there, three QBs that threw for over 5 thousand yards last year? And Eli was only a couple possessions away from doing it himself. So as far as I'm concerned, the passing is fine. If you don't like it, I suggest you talk to Roger Goodell about it.

Hmm, I think the controls feel great. Very smooth and responsive. It's a night and day difference between this and the past Maddens I've tried to play this gen. Those were all slow and clunky feeling.

madden is much improved in my opinion. I think its not even close. yes there are some issues, but its just so much more fun to me than 12.

I hope the base speed for online is "slow" as ive been using that with the S.T down to about 0-15 and had great results with sliders in place.

really think that those who really play this game a lot will enjoy the changes made with the I.E. but if assisted tackles aren't fixed it might just ruin the defense for some of us.

I've actually REALLY enjoyed it on Very slow. It's weird at first but feels pretty good the more you play on it.

I dont get why people are saying that the Commentary hasnt improved. Are you kidding me?

Leading 28-21 against the 49ers with 10 seconds left, Smith has to go for a big play to have any chance, the ball is tipped into Pierre-Paul for an Interception and pick six.

The Commentary, "I know its an Interception and score but it terms of the game it means nothing. However in todays world with Fantasy Football, somebody is jumping up and down after that play"

Yes no improvement at all. Idiots

The play resulted in a fumble which was run in for a TD.My O line controlled three quarters, but couldn't contain Tuck especially in th 4th. The exact opposite for my D line, which had sacked Eli 5 times through 3, didn't touch him in the 4th.
I would much rather have the cpu tighten up and play tough late rather then just lay down and quit as it did most of the time in past versions.

I'm really digging the game and having actual fun playing it for a change. The physics and passing are such improvements over the past games. Even with the occasional quirks with IE it adds so much to the feel and visuals of the game, in both good/bad OH SH*T moments. IE will add so much to the game in terms of penalties, gameplay, animations, injuries if it continues to evolve and improve.

I would love some more indepth sliders to fine tune the game to our liking.
Please do not disrespect Alex Smith, bad things happen to people that do lol!

He is the key to the success of this demo for me, but why does Eli look like peyton pre game intro?

You know Alex Smith was one of 2 QB's with 400 attempts and 6 or fewer ints. The other is Rodgers. Smith only threw 5 picks so he should be better rating wise then he was last year
