Have you seen his new XBL GT? It is phenomenal and outrageous.

Okay, back on topic, sorry folks.

I also have to agree with someone that posted that the game is just too damn fast, i put it on very slow and its much more enjoyable to play because you can see the play unfold and moreover you actually have time to react! LOL

Just witnessed a "backbreaker" esque play, my dline sacked RG3 but as he went down his body intertwined with his olineman and his leg helicoptered in a deformed way as he hit the ground...but even seeing this is better than the canned tackles from madden 12

The fact that the 'normal' setting was apparently sped up lends itself to people continuing to debate whether Madden is intended to be a simulation or an arcade game. Personally, I feel Madden is on the road towards becoming a simulation, but it's hard to defend that notion when the 'normal' setting lends itself to a more arcade/fun feel.

Probably sounds like I'm sour grapes on M13 and that's not the case. I know it's a game I'll play substantially and one that I'll enjoy. I just want to see some additional I's dotted and some T's crossed.
This could possibly mean the demo is older than the June build. I can't imagine them changing the speed given that I heard nothing but praise for the speed in the June build.

Sure the animations are improved and the tackling looks more dynamic, but all in all the game doesn't look that different to me.

Furthermore, the running animations just look so stiff. I know this has been said many times, but the open field animations just need to be redone. I'm really on the fence on this one, I'm not sure I will be spending the cash on Madden this year.
This game feels NOTHING like Madden 12 to me, anyone else agree? In fact when I first started the demo that was the first thing I was feeling, that this was something fresh and different for a change.

This demos default speed is just too fast to be simulation after playing All-Pro 2k8 today. After i slowed it down to very slow the game played like All-Pro 2k8 but with better graphics and up to date real life players. The thing that concerns me now is that I won't have any desire to play online games because their default speed will be the fast *** normal speed. That's a shame because i like playing online, but if i have to play offline to have a authentic football game then so be it :/

If I win a Super Bowl with Eli or Big Ben in CC, will the announcers say, "and now onto the field 3x Super Bowl Champ X"? Or will they make the mistake and keep saying 2x?

My only problem with Slow speeds is that i have too much time to make decisions.

Finally the next-gen football game we were promised 10 years ago. This game is surprising me every snap it seems like. This demo puts NCAA 13 to shame.

True, everything has a upside and a downside to it.

On opening kickoff of my first game it felt completely different than Madden 12. It feels so much smoother and looks so much better. I know a lot of people are saying otherwise, but this game isn't coming out of my tray for a while.

Absolutly love the demo, Passing is great, I love the total control Passing. First game I was RGIII and, I had 172 pass yards 1 TD 1 Pick, Santana Got behind the Defense I won 10 - 7 All Pro. 2nd game I got beat by the Giants 17-3. Justin Tuck and Pierre Paul don't give you alot of time Just like real Life. I just have to see it online. I love the presentation (but still No Halftime Show with Highlights) I give this a 9.8 just because of that based off the Demo. Seriously they did thier Thang.

Enjoying the demo so far and plan to pick up the game sometime this month.

Best Moment: Threw a fade from the 10 yard line and came down with the ball as I was being tackled. It looked so fluent and realistic.

Worst Moment: Caused a fumble near the endzone and two players completely morphed into each other with the same animation (I guess Infinity took a break).

Agreed with you jpdavis82 it feels nothing like 12, now you have to start to question your skills if you don't feel
a change

So after stomping on the redskins 21-3, the only thing truly bad i can say about the demo is the motion blur is terrible, i mean absolutely terrible. The camera glitches and bad angles will probably be refined by final release. Other than those two thing the infinity engine looks decent, its not going to amaze anyone with its effects but its subtle enough to enhance the simulation in a good way. I'll definitely buy Madden 13 this year if for no other reason that there is no other football game option, lol.

I'm so sorry. I don't know, maybe the EA Audio guy....

The new engine can be a little 'much' as I was trying to run behind my lineman as a lead blocker with Frank Gore. Well, my elbow got stuck in his groin and it made me do a 360 and fall over.

EA did a great job this year. This game plays no where near like Madden 12 did.

They still haven't fine tuned some things, but this is a DEMO! Who knows how far along this build is.

How does everyone feel about the commentary?

I think Nance sounds like John Wayne reading a news story.

Do your best western tough guy voice in a robotic matter-of-fact newscast method -- but make it about a live football game. Go ahead, try it.
