Madden NFL 13 Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here (360, PS3)

Plays identical to madden 12 with slightly better physics. Same blocking, ai issues and still sub par presentation, better then 12 but again not much. Madden loses the finer details that other sports games nail.

So after stomping on the redskins 21-3, the only thing truly bad i can say about the demo is the motion blur is terrible, i mean absolutely terrible. The camera glitches and bad angles will probably be refined by final release. Other than those two thing the infinity engine looks decent, its not going to amaze anyone with its effects but its subtle enough to enhance the simulation in a good way. I'll definitely buy Madden 13 this year if for no other reason that there is no other football game option,lol.

The new engine can be a little 'much' as I was trying to run behind my lineman as a lead blocker with Frank Gore. Well, my elbow got stuck in his groin and it made me do a 360 and fall over.

7th madden game this gen and only now do we have somewhat decent crowd noise and stadium atmosphere, and people wonder why madden gets so much hate.....................

EA did a great job this year. This game plays no where near like Madden 12 did.

They still haven't fine tuned some things, but this is a DEMO! Who knows how far along this build is.

I think Nance sounds like John Wayne reading a news story.

Do your best western tough guy voice in a robotic matter-of-fact newscast method -- but make it about a live football game. Go ahead, try it.

Going to transfer Madden 12 sliders to the demo to get a better feel, but I'll say the visuals are beautiful.

Also, any reason why when you adjust the sliders in the demo it goes to "Rookie" difficulty? Does this trump the theory slider creators of Madden 12 had that putting certain points in the sliders make it "All-Madden"?


I know I'm probably going to hate Connected Careers due to the limitations they set in 13, but as the saying goes "don't count your chickens before they hatch"
