Love just about everything! One little thing I don't like is that sometimes the shadows make it difficult to distinguish between the teams. Like when I'm on defense, it's hard to tell which players are on offense and which are my guys during a play. This was however more evident in the Seahawks vs Redskins demo.

I'm extremely let down that it took all the way to Page 11 for the first All Pro Football reference. You are slacking OS, slack....ing.

And for my impression, the Kinect controls are too slow to make them very usable for the majority of fast fingered preplay adjustment guys.

Because that's how the sliders have been for most of this generation. All Madden tips the sliders in the CPUs favor.

You can still move safeties/corners into gaps, but the opponent will have to tip their hand to set up the heat. And I'm sure fake blitzes will set up nanos too...so watch for that.

Loving the gameplay, just needs to feel more of a, authentic broadcast to me, and that's where the Visual Concepts team has always had an edge.
You're talking halftime and post game more specifically?

If I DID NOT KNOW BEFOREHAND that there was a real time physics engine controlling the tackles, I would not be able to tell from this demo. I would have just thought that they added more animations. I only played one game and that is my first impression.

Yeah a real studio halftime/post game and in Connected Careers a weekly wrapup studio show with highlights and news around the league. I'd also like to hear Jim and Phil talk about what's happening around the league during the games and have game breaks with score updates around the league. They also should talk about the Playoff picture and mvp races as you get late into your season.

Yea, I would be happy with something like they did on NFL 2k5.

Hahahaha. I haven't seen him in ages. I'm not on as much anymore but I still get on there. Maybe Madden? We can talk about the kick *** audio production.

I just finished my first game of the demo. I played as the Redskins and defeated the Seahawks 17-7. I played on All-Pro with default settings except for game speed which I dropped down to "slow".

The pre-game open is pretty nice. They show the teams' logos and then focus on some of the key players. I'd rather they do what NBA 2K does in the open when they show on-court highlights of the players before the game, but I still enjoyed the open.

Nantz and Simms are a definite improvement over Johnson and Collinsworth. I spent most of last year with the commentary turned off, I've only played one game so far, but I expect I won't have to do that this year. The only mistake I noticed was when I brought a pick back for a TD and Nantz said "Time for the no-huddle offense". Other than that I enjoyed the commentary.

The gameplay feels improved over M12. I didn't notice any of the unbelievable moments that I dealt with in 12. Last year the CPU would always bomb it on 3rd and long and my DBs would do nothing to stop it. This situation came up once in my playthrough and both the CB I was controlling and the safety went for the ball and broke up the pass.

I've only played one game so it's too early to tell, but overall it feels like the on-field aspect of M13 is an improvement over M12.
