2K Sports Invites Fans to “Uncover The Cover” of NBA® 2K13

Facebook application to reveal clues about cover for
next installment of top-selling and top-rated basketball simulation*

New York, NY – June 20, 2012 – 2K Sports today announced the launch of the “Uncover The Cover” Facebook application, which will engage the 2K Sports online community and reveal some big clues about the cover of NBA 2K13, the next installment of the top-rated NBA video game simulation franchise twelve years running.

The Facebook application will start with the clues concealed behind puzzle pieces. In order for pieces to be removed and the clues to the cover revealed, fans are encouraged to tweet about NBA 2K13 using the hashtag #UncoverNBA2K. The more tweets that are made containing the hashtag, the more pieces of the puzzle will be removed.

Fans can check the NBA 2K13 Facebook page to see the current state of the image and the effects their tweets are having in real-time. Once the cover is unveiled, fans will be able to download the final poster art file as wallpaper.

The Facebook application represents a significant departure from the traditional 2K Sports cover reveal, and will leverage the company’s sizable social media following. For the first time in the company’s history, fans will play a decisive role in announcing the cover.

Fans can begin tweeting #UncoverNBA2K today and view the app’s progress in real-time on http://2kgam.es/UncoverNBA2K.

Look man--I was just pointing out that there are athletes who have been more hated than Lebron so no need for the attitude with the "yeah yeah blah blah"; if you're wrong, you're wrong. Michael Vick was recently hated on more than Lebron. And if you think Lebron getting death threats is comparable to Vick or Hank Aaron, then you don't know your sports history. The majority of threats on Lebron's life probably came from Ohio, but Vick, Aaron, and others got it from all around the country.

The point is, people would buy the game to play the game--you're not playing a cover. Maybe that's why people over here complain about the game being too hard; quit looking at the cover and look at the tv screen when you're playing the game. I guarantee you many FSU fans still bought the NCAA FBALL game with Tebow on the cover, many people bought the CHoops game with JJ Reddick on the cover, many Kobe haters bought 2K10 with an accused rapist on the cover; the list goes on and on--especially with all the Reddick and Tebow haters because those guys were REALLY disliked.

first off im not wrong..tebow really who hates tebow i know my history in sports that again on field stuff hank aron was a different time im talking today what is your point you act like everyone think like you yeah your right play the game but some ppl are unreasonable that is my point...name another player today hated more than bron..you keep saying bond ok he dont Play...tebow not hated disliked maybe....vick good point tho.

Edit: technically Kris Humphries is more universally hated than Lebron. And there's statistical evidence (polls) to back that.

Regardless of who is on the cover, there's going to be hate. Lebron is a recognizable superstar, so it would not be detrimental to the game if he was on the cover. If anything, it will bring in more sales from the causal gamer and kids who only know Lebron as the best player in basketball.

Nope. Tim Tebow is hated by some.

Again, Kobe is a great example. The guy pretty much ran Shaq out of town which angered even Laker fans. He has a very cocky demeanor which rubs people the wrong way. He downright copied Michael Jordan but denied MJ being his major influence which made people not trust a word he spoke. He was accused of rape--RAPE--which ruined many of his endorsements....

....and he was still on the cover of NBA 2K10. It doesn't matter if time passed--many people (I'm not saying "most", but "many") still hate Kobe for his transgressions years ago, but he was still a cover boy.

I dont understand why people hate LeBron. He plays the game the right way and is a great teammate. He is a good person on and off the court. Has he ever been T'd up? (Probably but i can't think of any off the top of my head)

If you hate him for the decision then you're just ridiculous. Not only did it raise $2 Million for charity, but he has openly apologized and said it was the wrong way to leave Cleveland.

We give everyone 2nd chances, why doesn't LeBron get one?

out of all the hate ive read about lebron, this is probably one of the most laughable responses i have ever heard, so far from the truth.
He consistently cheats at the game of basketball is so ignorant to say, he averaged 30ppg in the playoffs, and it is not possible for a man to cheat in this game as you get caught out, is he ever called for travels? no. alot of players get away with the extra step, and he is arguably the games best finisher so hell finish no matter what....
he didnt call himself the king, the public and media created that image, he has never referred to himself as that.
have you seen when someone gets hand on ball on a kobe jumpshot? he lets go of the ball and throws his arms out like hes been stabbed, that is "flopping" aswell.
and how hasnt lebron scratched the surface of kobes legacy, the kid is much younger, and has already claimed a championship with finals MVP and 3 MVPS. kobes chips had Shaq as finals MVP for half of them champ

1. superstars get away with it but Lebron does this the most (travelling) and even flopping nowadays

2. his twitter is KINGJAMES, so you are full of ****

3. Without his strenght he'll never be as good as Jordan and Kobe because he isn't that good of a shooter. Still better than a lot of players but nowhere near as good and clutch as Jordan/Kobe.
