I just played the demo the hiesman challenge is a waste of time for me at least because i'm not a big fan of RTG mode, but i d have to admit the dynasty improvements are pretty good especially the score updates from the other games and the in game ticker so you can keep up with the other top 25 games or games in your conference, I know these might be trivial to some but i like them.

They are hit or miss depending on the formation. They sped up the animation a bit but in some formations, the QB still takes a weird first step. It seems like the QB Power's where you have a back out in front of you work a lot better but out of Empty or when the back can't get there in time, you're done.

I don't get what the blocking assignments are on that play though because it seems like the OL abandons you right as you get to the line. I don't get why there isn't a pulling guard and a down block to stop that.

The run defense AI is 100% psychic. Absolutely no hesitation at running at the ball carrier and the option is damn near impossible to run properly. I simply cannot imagine how this will play on a higher difficulty.

The only decent part of Heisman mode I am liking is the interviews. The game looks absolutely horrible when you play as only the QB. Also the view seems to far in without a pivot option.
I had a different experience I beat Oregon using the read option and play action.

Now for the speed option the quarterback doesn't need to take a giant step to go. That's what I find annoying in the game.

I also, couldn't user catch the whole entire time. But, I was 20-22 attempts 3 touchdowns with Barkley 406 yards destroying Oregon muahahaha ... Also, the graphics need to be updated. The final score in that game was 42 - 3.

Read Option is one of the weird plays in the game that I actually feels like it rewards a good decision, punishes a bad one and doesn't do it by any sort of CPU advantage.

Read the back side and the free man stays at home? take what you can get with the hand off. If the free man bites you usually get a huge hole to run through with the QB. Read either of those wrong and its a bad play 80% of the time.

Yeah and the reaction by the DE isn't as fast as it was, so you can actually gain yards as the qb.

I'm attempting to dl it for PS3 right now and I've got 1000+ minutes left!

This is especially odd considering that I downloaded a rather large 10 GB file in fewer minutes just this week...

Has EA or anyone heard of any improvements since the demo. I just find it hard to believe that was the final build over a month and a half before release.

Seems like all the Madden info is stealing their thunder when it comes to any information being released.

Not really liking the motion blur effect.

Does anyone know if we will be able to change controls in the retail version? I am hating the pitch button being LB! I just can't get used to it.

Man, I'll say it again.

The improvement in WR/DB interaction is OUTSTANDING this year.

Kudos EA on legitimately making an effort to improve this area. I for one am noticing big time.

This alone is the biggest difference between NCAA 13 and any previous version. I have been waiting years for this area to be improved. I am looking forward to seeing how it plays on All American (or even Heisman).

Less than two weeks away!!

In the Kansas playbook Singleback Twin TE Slot H Misdirection WK and the connected PA play are broken. On the run play the QB doesn't hand off and sets up to pass with everyone blocking (meaning you can't pass...to anyone.) and on the play action there's no run fake, he just sets up to pass.

Hopefully that's fixed up by release. They look like interesting plays.

I'd create a one of those tiny links and send a tweet to the NCAA team on twitter.

Does anyone know if you can turn off the ESPN ticker during a game in the retail version? I like the idea of it a lot, but I have a new plasma and I worry about static images. The actual score bar doesn't worry me as much since that goes away with replays and such.

# 1057 msuduo @ 06/24/12 07:13 PM
How long did it take you guys to download it? I've tried twice and it's stalled. Internet connection is fine, not sure what the issue would be

It's pretty good I like the read and react. one problem: i was being lsu i had bama on 4th and 20 at the 42 yrd line and they decide to do a fake punt run. smh at the AI

I had it happen to me once as well, same exact teams, around 4th and 15 between the 35-45 yard line (can't remember exactly).

Had a fake punt against me as well on 4th and 26 in plus territory. Later in the same game the CPU ran a draw with 3 seconds left down 6.
