Depends on what team(s) your using...

To me the colors for Baylor and Kansas St looked washed out.

It is in the game, just not called often.

I wish defenders would tip or deflect the ball when it is in the air instead of either making a ridiculous pick, letting it hit their helmet, or just not even noticing the ball is there.

so your saying you saw a defensive PI or your assuming they finally fixed it even without actually seeing it for yourself.......

RB mapped to 5rh receiver is tough to get used to.

To be fair, KSU's uniforms look washed out even in real life and standing right next to them. Their purple doesn't pop like East Carolina. It's a more greyish purple and their silver is more light grey and doesn't pop either. Pretty bland colors really.

Also, I played one quarter of a KSU/Baylor game before going back to work tonight and thought the colors of KSU and Baylor and Baylor's stadium look exactly the same as last year, and the year prior.

I actually had a play where I threw a pass, went through a USC LB hands (tipped) and the Safety picked it off after the tip..was pretty cool to see that

I've seen 2-3 people mention that they had PI called against them in this very thread.

Just seen a nice diving backwards catch attempt along the side lines. Starting to wonder if the attempts is tied to a rating or something. Because so far I'm not seeing every team attempt them at all.

Ratings definitely going to need to be re-rated again this year. Alabama line backers got mad hops in this game and very fast speed and acceleration as well. Seen it quite often now they can be in one spot and warp 5 yards over to break up a pass.

Deep ball don't seem to be a problem this year. Every deep ball attempt I seen the CPU try got intercepted with ease by my CPU controlled Safety or Corner Back. They under cut the deep ball every time and the WR instead of coming back towards the ball, just stands there, watching the other 2 guys jump for it in front of him.

CPU offense isn't a threat at all. It is like once they cross mid field they turn stupid and can no longer sustain their drive. They also seem to love the hell out of the Corner blitz.

If EA can fix the CPU Offensive AI, fix special teams and fix the lack of aggressiveness by WRs, this game could be great.

As it stands now....options is a no go for the CPU. Along with screen passes. Every time they attempt it, it kills their drive.

Hope they fix the ineffective plays before release date; otherwise, custom playbooks will have to be made...

Just remember this is on Varsity.

I don't see why they don't include a difficulty option for these demos.....

I just had a situation where I had the slot receiver on a streak and he caught it. As he went up for the ball there were 2 defenders going for the ball with him. He caught it and his arms got caught up with there bodies. I say this because it looks like physics is implemented in some way. Where it is with arms getting caught up or legs. I've seen this happen 3 times where there limbs will move if they get caught up. By the way it was a beautiful catch. It got me so hype because he caught it and after his arms got caught up it effected his body on the catch but he kept his balance. He ended up scoring. That play alone tells me that the EA sports franchise is going in the right direction.

Some quick impressions after two games:

The passing game is great. Much more fluid than last year. WR's actually catch the ball in stride. One of my biggest concerns was hearing that you have to manually catch the ball to get the full experience, but in one game I had one WR go up for the ball and another one who completely laid out for a pass. I also saw another WR lay out for a ball that was tipped. All of these weren't manually controlled.

The settings are obviously set to Varsity which unfortunately makes most of the CPU's play irrelevant. Oregon did actually have a nice option run or two, but I was mostly able to shut them down. I don't think that I will be able to tell how good or bad this is until I get my hands on the full version.

The crowd sounds much better than last year. I fumbled a punt return against LSU and the crowd went wild. Again, once I mess around with the audio settings then this should be even better.

I love the updates from Rece. Logic tells me that they will be spread out a little more in the full game. Not to mention that they will actually mean something once you start your actually OD. I think this is going to be great for immersion.

All and all, I have to say that I'm fairly pleased with the gameplay. Of course, I didn't hate NCAA 12's gameplay. Actually I thought it was very good aside from OL/DL interaction. With the gameplay improvements, as well as, the dynasty upgrades, I'm believe that I will be very happy with NCAA 13.

SHUT. THE. FRONT. DOOR!!!

Simon (#24) from LSU just blocked my punt late in the 4th and LSU tackled me in the endzone for a safety.

Wow!!

Man, I wish there was a replay function. Couldn't get my phone camera on the game replay quick enough. I jumped out of my chair in shock. Haha!

I played 6 games in a row.Its pretty much the same as last year. The passing is a little better, running animations are a little better,It looks like they toned down the "Hunch Back " running..The game just feels the same as NCAA 12 to me, I will not be buying it this year..

Just played my first full game. (Alabama - LSU)

I returned the opening kick 100yds for a TD and noticed the crowd immediately. It was a unique feeling I don't believe I have had in a sports video game before. The entire stadium was going bonkers as I passed the last couple defenders on my way in for the score. Awesome.

The passing game feels sooo much better than last year. Loving putting a little touch on the ball to get it over the LBs.

The catches look great, finally get to see good receivers using their hands to catch the ball out away from their body. The animations look very smooth as well. Whoever WR#10 is on LSU was making amazing catches.

I had 3 penalties called during my game, 2 holding and 1 illegal touching I think it was. My receiver ran a fade and ended up stepping out of bounds at the end of his route, as I scrambled he took off down field and I was able to hit him with a "jump ball" so to speak. He went up between two defenders and made an amazing catch. The refs called him for illegal touching though and it was waived off. That was cool to see.

The running game does not have much of a different feel from 2011 imo.

Graphics look GREAT. Having no issues with "washed out colors". Motion blur on replays actually helps a TON making it look more realistic.

Still not a fan of how the players move, everything seems a bit "twitchy" to me still. Of course, usually I play the game in "slow" speed, so this is all a little faster than I'm used to anyways...

Well that was just after 1 game, I will go play some more and see how it goes.

I hate you now because I haven't seen it yet.

ncaa football 13 = ncaa football 11.75. Cutting to the studio for the updates is annoying, and they don't show any highlights for the games. Way way way over-rated.
