You just made a comment when it goes gold.
Let me guess becuase you went to play the game its gold in your opinion.

Guys in here discussing the game mostly negative and you jump in here to save EA.

I asked a ? on your site and Gaiming tailgate if custom playbooks would be discussed in this playbook,Guess what no ANWSER.

One more thing i buy this game every year and after last year i don't expect anything to work right.

If you noticed in the first playbook 2:13 seconds into it they said that was

More than enough has been said in this thread. I'm looking forward to the gameplay footage later today. It will either validate the complaints made here, or call for the complainers/constructive critics to take a step back.

I am always optimistic because I want this game to be good. I just hope we see at least some promise. I am not going to go out and buy it based on today, but it would be nice to see things moving forward.

I'm a gamer, and I like football. The kid in me will always get excited for a new video game. Only the grave will make that change. I'm a big kid at heart.

I think we should all remember to keep our expectations realistic with this game, and even though gameplay will be talked about exclusively and shown today, things still have time to be tweaked for the better, or the worse, lol. That said I still think the demo is when everyone should make their purchase decisions, IF gameplay is your deciding factor.

Totally agree with the kid at heart comment. However I'm not a damn fool either. If they fail to generate quality(quality not prefection) I won't purchase this game.

Agreed.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 8 times, shame on me.

That is true for the most part, how ever the past 2 years, what was in the demo and what was in the retail version was 2 different things. Come retail version they always watered stuff down in their day one patch that the game don't even play as good as it did in the demo.

That is true. Do you think it was anything drastic enough to make a game go from a buy to a no buy? Personally I've never had a game play so drastic from the demo it made me want to take it back.

Not that drastic, not for me anyway.

# 333 Skurzilla @ 04/17/12 03:16 PM
Guess I won't be throwing 6 interceptions in a single game anymore.. Nice feature update

# 334 Skurzilla @ 04/17/12 03:18 PM
I thought 2012 was quite a bit better than 2011. What did you like in 2011 over 2012?

# 335 Skurzilla @ 04/17/12 03:20 PM
I agree. However, I do like the added features. Good to see them proactively making the game better each year. I haven't seen that with Madden recently.

Post-Release? I'm going on friggin' vacation, man, like it or not:P Thinkin' Dublin this Summer. You save up some serious PTO during alpha.

Now, for real... how often I come here is 100% dependent on whatever else is drawing my attention. Lately, I've been busy *ahem* "Holding the Line" (those of you involved in the greater video game community might know what I'm talking about), and so 90% of my forum time is spent on another game's site. This isn't really part of our job. Those of us who do interact here do so voluntarily because we want too.

Fact is, I have nothing I can talk about yet. Once I can, I'll be here talking about it. Once the game comes out, yes, I will indeed distance myself for a while... if for no other reason than to let the game sink in for a while. You're always welcome to PM me questions, I'll answer them if I'm not overwhelmed by them, plus I'm on twitter (see sig) and I'll answer there (eventually, sometimes I don't get on for a week at a time).

Yeah that 'ending' if you want to call it that has been probably the most disappointing moment in my gaming history since college hoops 2k9 was canceled.

As for NCAA I hope they make a great game. There hasn't been one NCAA I've played more than 6 months on this gen. I remember playing the ones on regular XBOX from the day I got it till the day the next one came out.

It all sounds promising. But a couple plays from the vid remind me a bit of '12...and not necessarily in a great way. At 13:25, there is an OU vs. Okla St play where a LB is in the area....in '12, it was at the whim of the CPU whether the LB would jump up for the pick, or let it go right by. And at 13:43, there is a similar play with a FSU DB against Florida.....he is in the area, and it seems the CPU decides to let the WR catch it.
