My interpretation is that it the Honey Badger interception it is either NCAA 12 a old build of NCAA 13 before they removed physic DB's. I mean, he was talking about what was wrong with NCAA 12 DB's as the showed that, then the next clip was of how the DB's will look it NCAA 13. That's how it seemed to me anyway.

Again, I'd say that you can say that about any and every yearly sports game this gen. I certainly couldn't tell the difference in a 2 minute mash-up of NBA 2k11 and NBA 2k12. Hell, I probably couldn't tell a difference between The Show 08 and The Show 12. Now, if I was actually playing them that would be a different story, but looking at them in short clips I could only guess which iteration I was watching.

Same game engine.
Same code foundation built around.
Same ratings module that drives animations.

And folks keep using the word Hope as though something major will be different.

Now I understand what some mean by it getting hilarious around here!!!

It does provide some laughter that helps to past time at least.

Especially since this was claimed before. If it is true thats great for offline (and online leagues with the "no switch rule"
Can't wait to see how this pans out

I am beginning to believe that these videos are intentionally vague simply to provide a fallback for when something doesn't work or isn't included. So if there are psychic DB's, they can point to that and say, "well, we showed you what we meant." Then in the event something works well, it becomes, "look how big of an improvement we made!!"

I never bought into that sort of "conspiracy" before but when you look at videos like these, they are all incredibly vague and non-committal. At some point, that can't be a coincidence. It is one thing to be keeping features under wrap, but they are actually promoting big selling points and then being incredibly vague when showing them off. To me, that screams lack of confidence in what they are selling.

If that clip truly was NCAA 13, that was very clearly a psychic DB. If that was NCAA 12 and they are telling us why it's bad, why aren't they comparing it side by side like they used to do with other features? If they are mixing NCAA 12 and 13, why aren't they clarifying it?

I like to think they aren't being deceitful, but at some point, they have to stop being vague.

I've never been able to form much of an opinion from video clips. I have to play the game and get the feel of it. I'm glad NCAA 13 is included in the early release package I paid for last year to play Madden 12 early. After 3 days, I'll know if I want to buy the game or not.

Wonder if the QB Awareness rating will have any effect on how quick the icons appear??

Whatever they show on Tuesday will probably be pretty old, because we know that they want to be certain that what they're showing live is a stable build. They don't want any "Jesus Bynum" type stuff to occur and break the internet.

We know that how the player move or animate, is not going to be radically different, so the key will be looking at -who, when, where, why, and what- when it comes to the new gameplay changes.

Will we be able to see F.O.V. limitations, new passing trajectories, further reduction of suction and warping, read and react Defense, without a developer having to point it out to us.

Can't Wait.

Steve Walsh was a QB. I think he went to University of Miami. However, darknmild obviously meant Bill Walsh Football.

In one of the clips, LSUs Pro-Combat uniforms from last season is in the game. (white helmet & white jerseys w/ the purple armpit)

Maybe we get to choose which build we get to buy on July 10th. Will it be the passing build? Will it be the sights and sounds build?

Looks like the same mechanical, non fluid game play to me. Color me unimpressed thus far. As for the no more psychic Dbs & the qb drop backs? I believe it when I see it in play. Still no up field pass rush from the vids I saw. Looks just like 12 imo. EA I don't believe you....

Everything looks very very good the passing DB's there is just one little thing on my part did not see any equip ment I'm still probably buy the game but it's disappointing I don't get why madden and NCAA share equipment cause madden added a dump load of helmets facemasks soese gloves but back to the video it looks good.

I'm sure psychic db will be in the game in some form as in mirroring routes. If the passing trajectory and arcs can overcome this then I'm fine with it for the most part. But if I see one instance where I hit pass and the db from the other side breaks on the ball for a pick I'm going to flip. That better be eliminated when they mean no more psychic DBs

I am optimistic about the new team and other changes that have taken place for EA football but there is really NO WAY to be sure if you will enjoy NCAA 13 until actually playing it. If I am not mistaken the Online Pass only allows for the game to be played a few days before release and that's not enough time for me to "feel" the game play out.

The BlockBuster in my area just closed down and the online game rental websites don't provide an online code so I would have to pay for online access if I rent it by mail. However, I just checked opened video game return policies for most stores and that gives 15 days to exchange an opened game for store credit or another game.

The best decision seems to be to buy the game and play the ish out of it for 14 days/2 weeks to decide if it's worth it or not. A two week trial kind of and that will prevent people from feeling influenced by marketing to throw their $60+ away.
If you do that, EA still makes their money though.
Trade in credit is a rip-off also.

I'm trying to understand how grown men (not you specifically) behave as though the world will end if they're not one the first to play the game so they can post their impressions.

Just don't get it at all, especially knowing the history of the game has always required a patch or two after release.

I know some say they will trade it in for Madden, but when has Madden ever been worth $120

I'll wait to get my hands on a rental.
There are still a couple of Blockbusters within 15 min drive from me.

So a corner on the left sideline running stride for stride with a WR on a streak is going to break on the ball AT THE QB RELEASE on the other sideline for a pick. Bull****. And prove that they can. Don't show me Ed Reed playing center field either because that's not what I'm talking about
