Does that mean rain is random? Is it possible to reload the franchise and see if you get sun the next time? WRs do slip all over the place in the rain which I like but I'm glad I haven't seen much rain once I got into October. I'm on the PS3 so maybe it's a little different.

I'm thinking that our PS3 games have tons less issues. My Weather is really accurate to area and time of the year. I'm also not having any issue with CPU Squads cutting Draft Picks for UFA's...

I'm on PS3, in case people don't catch on...

Unfortunately reloading the Franchise doesn't work. The rain is already predetermined for the week

NCAA took TWO MONTHS to get a patch out. Don't look to Madden to do any better.
I think we're seeing the first consequences of Ian's departure.
When Ian was in charge the team really tried to fix issues and released quite a lot of patches (5 last year).
Now we're getting one gameplay patch 2-3 month after the release (I'm expecting it after Thanksgiving).

They don't even release a tuner set which were supposed to allow quick fixes w/o the long waiting time on a patch.

- weather
- franchise trade logic
- franchise draft logic
- super leaping lbs
- no outside pass rush (maybe its me sticking with 3-4)
- superstar progression/achievements/roles
- custom playbook page stacking/lack of stacking
- custom playbook cant change audibles
- UDFAs being kept rather than 1st/2nd/3rd round picks

People keep talking about Ian Cummings like he was great. Where was he during the 07 to 11a run? Its like asking for dubya Bush back as prez bc Obama isn't doing as wanted...lose lose

And he was VERY high profile and constantly communicating with the fan base.
If anything, he helped turn around an absolute train wreck that was handed down from his predecessors. I don't think he was the answer nor the problem to what's plaguing this franchise, but I appreciate the intentions and passion he brought to the table in the face of the absurd amount of hatred that was thrown his way on a daily basis.

He was getting NFL superstar backlash and criticism on a CFL salary. Not exactly a fair shake IMO. The rest of the company (EA) and team (Tiburon) should have to take on the kind of direct feedback that he received and then maybe we would begin to see some kind of change.

Why don't people realize that almost every game nowadays put out patches including 2K game's.??

No other sports game or regular game for that mattter puts out MULTIPLE patches in order to get the BASICS to work like EA sports games. Every year in Madden and NCAA we get 3 to 4 patches just to get the BASICS to work. But then after that some things never do get fixed and we get told to wait until next year. Then the process repeats itself.

Big difference between a game just doing the standard release day patch to having 3 to 4 patches released for your game EVERY YEAR just to get the BASICS of the game to work.

He lied several times about certain features, didnt actually know much about football, and let be honest, Madden 11 didnt improve on Madden 10 at all.

Maybe he was handcuffed by EA, and I do give him credit for making SOME progress with the game and interacting with us, but the game didnt improve all that much under him as people act like it did. The game was riddled with issues every year under him, although it wasnt all his fault.
It did become more towards sim with Phil and him, but there were still features broken.

Haha, problem is, EA was excellent at making Baseball, 2K was excellent at making Football.

They have the wrong exclusive licenses.

Yah. I have to say the team has really taken a step back as far as communication goes. I wish things were just a little more transparent. And if they can't be, I wish the title updates were a little more timely.

I wonder what the timeline for updates was last year? I think by this time, we had already had the 2nd patch plus the Breast Cancer Awareness DLC? IDK...

How soon is "soon"? Come on, EA!

# 157 cas850 @ 10/04/11 12:05 PM
at some point, we are going to hear madden 13 details before we hear patch details for madden 12.

# 158 vstro @ 10/04/11 12:09 PM
I can't believe its taking this long just for us to find out when we will be getting a patch. EA dropping the ball big time right now.

I'm exaggerating here, but I think another 3 week wait would be a disaster. I mean, M12 is the best football game to come out of there in quite some time. With a little TLC, it can be a very enjoybable football game. But they've gotta support it.

Maybe they don't have intentions to have as many patches/DLC as M11 had, so they're trying to cover all the bases in one swoop.

Michael Young said in an interview which I recall was about two weeks ago we would hear something soon. Then last week EA tweeted about info coming soon... I mean In the context of a Video Game patch I don't equate soon to be longer than a week when in reference to information.
