Madden: the only the video game I need a spreadsheet to track all the bugs and glitches so I take care of the problems at the appropriate times to minimize their effects (Ex. editing players at the end of seasons to not lose roles). Ridiculous please give us some idea what you are fixing, it is not that hard, EA you obviously have an idea, and more importantly you can add to the list (!).

Maybe they don't have intentions to have as many patches/DLC as M11 had, so they're trying to cover all the bases in one swoop.
It's already a disaster. We're a quarter through the NFL season and haven't had one post-release patch (and let's not pretend that the release day patch was anything more than a gold release following an alpha build).

The game as it stands is practically unplayable for me without maintaining multiple Excel spreadsheets and/or a database to run Franchise in a respectable manner.

Kind of like the return of Jesus in the book of Revelation. By those standards, we as the United States of America will be extinct by the time this patch is released.

Define soon EA? Haven't heard anything, no release dates, no details or even a snippet.

I'd just like to have an idea of when I can start my franchise lol... If the patch won't be addressing what I'd like to see tweaked, I'll just start now and grin and bear it through the deficiencies, but if they will be fixed I'll hold off, and if it's going to be a few weeks I'll use it to prepare even better methods for my franchise updates to be posted here.

Ditto....playing The Show in the meantime. No football is KILLING me, but I can't/won't until the game is "complete".

I'm so sick of waiting to start my franchise. E.A. Needs to hurry up with this.

I'm sick of is companies releasing games that aren't done since the advent of online patching etc they feel they are "allowed" or that it is acceptable business practice. Sadly, they have a monopoly, so there isn't much we can do other than simply not buy the game every year.

Speed it up EA. As you can see you have some frustrated fans lol.

ill just keep playing my franchise in the rain till it gets fixed. Be nice to play in the sun.

hmm, i thought the game tuners were supposed to fix things just like a patch, but with the purpose of not taking as long as a patch takes to come out

I feel your pain guys, my thoughts are this: If you remember the article or not, it was said there would be no patches this year for madden, so what does that tell you? They had extreme confidence in thier product to be bug free. What does that tell us?

1. the reason its taking so dang long is because they may be a little surprised by the bugs and having that extra time because of the late release this year they had thought they would of caught everything. So its taking some real digging to uncover the problem with these bugs that they thought would not be there.

2. This generation of Maddens codeing, gaming system, timeline, whatever other 100 excuses you can think of are so unstable that they have to spend just as much time tracking down bugs as they do adding and improving features. I dont blame the current devs nearly as much as I blame the original ones who wrote the foundationary code for this game.

Just a thought obviously from someone who doesnt know the ins and outs of making a game, but theres things there that are easy to make assumptions about.

EA just boggles the mind sometimes. How hard is it to announce what is going into a patch already in development (surely). These are easy, easy wins EA - dead simple things to keep people happy and produce some free confidence, and yet they can't even get this right. Whether they are trying really hard to make big improvements to M12 with patches or are only investing a small amount of energy in them, at least portray a sense of high activity and interest. EA come off like they couldn't care less.

Of course it's already in development, but we're still not going to get patch details until the patch is approved or actually releases. The same goes for the vast majority of games. Developers don't want to be stuck in a situation where they comment that they're working on something and it falls through at the end. That would be worse PR than the (currently) five business days of silence since word of the patch came out.

Does any of this matter anymore?,2k is out and maddens allover are gonna be traded in anyways.I actually like this madden but after playing 2k it just hurts to see the football game I love and supported over the years looks like childs play, and nothing inna patch is gonna fix it

Thanks, Steve.

I'm sure there will be a few people who won't be happy because they didn't fix x, y, or z.

Hopefully, it covers most of the concerns.

Just give me some tweaks to franchise mode, and commentary if possible and I'm alright with this years version.

My main issue is the sign/trade/and draft logic, if that along with the UDFA issue is fixed I along with many others will be pleased. That's the only problem I really have.
