I'm thinking that our PS3 games have tons less issues. My Weather is really accurate to area and time of the year. I'm also not having any issue with CPU Squads cutting Draft Picks for UFA's...

I'm on PS3, in case people don't catch on...

Unfortunately reloading the Franchise doesn't work. The rain is already predetermined for the week

NCAA took TWO MONTHS to get a patch out. Don't look to Madden to do any better.
I think we're seeing the first consequences of Ian's departure.
When Ian was in charge the team really tried to fix issues and released quite a lot of patches (5 last year).
Now we're getting one gameplay patch 2-3 month after the release (I'm expecting it after Thanksgiving).

They don't even release a tuner set which were supposed to allow quick fixes w/o the long waiting time on a patch.

- weather
- franchise trade logic
- franchise draft logic
- super leaping lbs
- no outside pass rush (maybe its me sticking with 3-4)
- superstar progression/achievements/roles
- custom playbook page stacking/lack of stacking
- custom playbook cant change audibles
- UDFAs being kept rather than 1st/2nd/3rd round picks

No question, and a few others from the Madden team left with Cummings whom I credit with taking Madden the furthest in this 'next gen' run. If that team had stayed intact I honestly feel this would have been a much stronger product. Key staff turnover is a killer, and Cummings was gold in my book as the lead designer. And he was VERY high profile and constantly communicating with the fan base.

I couldn't disagree more. Cummings did nothing innovative in his time at the helm and is the reason why Madden is such a average product in its current state. Who cares if he put out 100 patches if the product is garbage?

People keep talking about Ian Cummings like he was great. Where was he during the 07 to 11a run? Its like asking for dubya Bush back as prez bc Obama isn't doing as wanted...lose lose

If anything, he helped turn around an absolute train wreck that was handed down from his predecessors. I don't think he was the answer nor the problem to what's plaguing this franchise, but I appreciate the intentions and passion he brought to the table in the face of the absurd amount of hatred that was thrown his way on a daily basis.

He was getting NFL superstar backlash and criticism on a CFL salary. Not exactly a fair shake IMO. The rest of the company (EA) and team (Tiburon) should have to take on the kind of direct feedback that he received and then maybe we would begin to see some kind of change.
