Yea I feel the same way but then I get to the point where Ive waited this long then I might as well wait a little bit longer. I mean I have school and work so at most I get to play one or two days a week. But it is getting kind of ridiculous that college football is going in to the second week of the season and still we have nothing from EA. But I will continue to play and enjoy the game and wait for the patch.

I know NCAA is a great game this year all they have to do is fix the tendencies and the game would change drastically once it is out I could finally use my draft classes for Madden 12

It's not just tendencies they need to fix. The friggin' option offense is broken too.

EA always do that wih all their sports games. They be in the forum prettty deep in the beginning, but then once the bugs and other issues are found, they put the pedal to the medal and get out of here.

This is by far the LONGEST it ever took for them to release a patch.

One thing that always annoy me about this team is they have the ability to release TUNERS, which DON'T require APPROVAL. Something they can make in the morning and upload to their system right then and there.

Everything in this game don't require a patch to fix. Most of this stuff, especially game play AI, progression, etc can be fixed via TUNER.

But for some reason this team and the madden team treat tuners like patches. Makes no sense what so ever.

What is the point of even having tuners if you don't take advantage of it and USE THEM to fix your product ?

See this is why I didn't believe the Cam Weber hype of things are going to be different and better under his watch. Well guess what people, we are under his watch NOW and it is business as usual, nothing changed.

We still waiting on patches.......And still NOT using TUNERS when we should be. 2 months later and not ONE SINGLE TUNER ? SOMETHING THAT DON'T EVEN REQUIRE APPROVAL ?

SMH.....

It is like the old saying goes.......

If you can play online head to head, that is all that matters to EA, stamp of approval, game is done.

My biggest issue is this. I have a group of 10 guys and we have an OD. In our first one, we used named rosters, made it to week 1 and couldn't advance because of the roster issue. Everytime we tried to advance it got step on step 3 of 5.

SO, we start a second dynasty. In the second dynasty we finished the conference championships last Thursday. I destroyed my opponent and had an undefeated season and was looking forward to a national title game. When I exit the game the screen pops up and says, "Transfer Failed". I exit the OD, re-enter, and it shows that I had won my game so I didn't think anything else of it. Later that night we advance the week, and it hadn't saved my score for some reason and instead simmed the conference championship and I lost! It cost me a shot at the national title! Then in the bowl week I play in the Sugar Bowl against another human. I win. We exit the game and we get 'Transfer Failed"! But this time it didn't even play around and save the score.

Also now on the bowl week everytime someone in our dynasty plays a game the "Transfer Failed" screen pops up! So we are terrified to advance past the bowl week and are stuck waiting on a freaking patch to come out!

How so?

Man, I REALLY want to get this game with the updated conferences and new coaching carousel (since I LOVE the 'drama' of switching schools in dynasty!) but all the negatives seem to indicate that keeping '11 is my best bet.

I don't play online dynasty, and I don't pay much attention to tendencies anyway. I DO run the option with whatever school I'm at, though... and it seems that the speed option needs fixing.

Exactly..they could have had 12 tuners out by now if they really wanted to. We dont have 1.

You really should, because that affects the game play AI of your teammates and the cpu you are playing against. With wrong tendancies, certain offenses and defenses simply will not work correctly.

So therefore you will have schools using a playbook they can't even use and schools simply not playing like themselves at all. Domino effect bascially......

I rather them start tuning the second patch, then throwing a band aid now that breaks the game when the new patch comes out. I'll wait to throw a fit til the next patch is out and tuners still aren't coming. Til then, I'm good in that department. Normally the EA response would be to tune it, it's a band aid that would get them out of the water, but they are being smart. Hopefully this patch and tuner return this game to AAA status, even though it will probably be over 2 months from the release date.

And on a side note, this is why you don't listen to release dates that randoms preach. If a lot of people didn't believe the people saying today or yesterday a lot of the drama would be non-existant. EA can't stop people from preaching false release dates, it's up to you to hold them with little weight. Yes I would've love to have a patch today or yesterday, but really unless someone with EA or true connections to EA pops in and says 'Hey, our patch is out in a few hours' or something, then stop believing the randoms. It would solve some of the drama.

I pay attention when recruiting, but not against the CPU. I want/like to run an option or lots of roll out passes with a scrambling QB. I will recruit accordingly. Don't care at all about the CPU I'm playing against - never have paid attention in the past and it's never seemed to have made a difference.

But is this game REALLY that broken, or is it just stuff that has been a part of NCAA for years but is just now getting 'old'?

So you don't care if you're playing michigan and denard robinson never breaks the pocket? Like literally never. Its pretty annoying. Or that none of the awesome DEs are even a concern because they don't pass rush? I can't play until thats fixed.

When Florida has a QB with 65 speed running their options, it takes the fun out of becoming their new OC in Dynasty mode. When Troy win's National Championships because other teams around the league are playing wrong offensive styles with players who can't play those styles because of tendency issues, it makes the game less fun.

Seriously? It's not out yet? I've had it with EA. Horrible, HORRIBLE communication with the customer and an absolutely pathetic bug has taken way too long to fix. I'm already done buying Madden, NCAA now too.

And therein lies the problem... not one single response from EA on this entire situation. When the guy posted that he spoke to EA's customer service and was told 7 September as the day the patch {blanket/quilt} would be released, then why the hell didn't someone from EA come on here and say, "Sorry guys, that's not true."

Instead... we get absolutely NOTHING!

No, I really don't. This almost feels nitpicky, to be perfectly honest. IF I happen to play Michigan in the one or two years when Robinson is there, I don't think I'd notice. If I playing Michigan three years in to my dynasty - which I tend to blow through, anyway - he wouldn't even be there.

But that said, I've never been an extreme 'sim' guy. I just want it to be fun. Batted passes across the middle have always happened in this game. Superman DBs seem like a sketchy way to make deep passing more difficult, but it was WAY too easy in past years.

Don't know what I think of this game...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't EA say by the end of August?

that's absolutely utterly false. DR tore my D a new one single handedy in my OD.

the sickening thing is DR is the only excuse thrown out when it comes to piling on about the player tendencies.

Ha, I was just thinking about this - Denard Robinson is the only name I ever see used as an example. I don't know much about 98% of the players outside of my alma mater anyway, so I'd never even notice an issue with tendencies.

My biggest fear is pass defense being excessively bad, and the option being impossible to run. Sounds like the option is getting fixed, and I just can't tell if people are upset about passing not being as easy as last year or if there really is a big problem.

I have to say that EA has done a horrible job dealing with this issue. We are the consumer and EA decides to shut us out. Jerk offs.
