The tendencies will be fixed, which will help gameplay dramatically. The freezes will be fixed, reason for the stabilization issues they said they had to address. The linebackers will be fixed, however this has more to do with the trajectory of the ball rather than the linebackers. Overall, the game is playable, but it will be so good once the patch hits, if EA did take their time and do it right. I would rather have EA take their time, get everything right, make sure it's fixed and release rather than rush it and then imagine what people on here would be doing. I can handle waiting a little bit because Madden is very good to me. I do want to get into both series here shortly though and I'm sure it's a matter of time before the patch hits. If the patch works, people will be all for EA, if it fails, they'll want them to burn. I personally, don't care, because if the patch fails, I trade it in for 25$ and it gives me more power to put more money on my Battlefield 3 order that I've been thinking about canceling. Think of it this way, if it fails, you only wasted 35$, which isn't that bad, because I did have my moments with this game. However, I think EA will clutch up, unless they saw this and want my Battlefield money instead.
That being said......

It would be nice to pay for a finished product for once especially after these dev-teams have had over five years to get these games right in the current-gen era.

VERY tired of people making excuses for companies that sell crap and call it gold. Its crap!

Yeah yeah, every game has issues at launch. The reason the top games don't is because they are developed for years, not 6 months. Personally, for people who blame EA for putting out an unfinished product, don't buy it until you see on here that the final patch is out. I can find the game enjoyable so I don't think the game is unfinished. Things happen and anyone who says it's EA's fault is just upset, the game is finished and a good game, just a couple small tweaks in gameplay and fixing the freezing and it will be the 8.5/10 we expected.

How is it that Sony can get it right with The Show and EA can get it right with FIFA and from what I've been seeing NHL but not with NCAA, Madden, and Elite or Live in roughly the same time frame.

Everyone knows there's issues. I just don't see the reason for people to continually post about it on here. Basically, I was saying, if you don't want the game, get ride of it and don't talk about it. If you are waiting for the patch, wait it out and post when it's out. Everyone is frustrated. I want to start my dynasty, but don't want to be in it when the patch is out. EA has taken a long time and hopefully they can learn from this. I do think it is time for them to get rid of the current NCAA engine and develop a newer, more polished engine. I didn't say it wasn't EA's fault, I'm just sick of hearing how it's EA's fault.

Because that team at SCEA that makes The Show is unreal. Personally, it's the best sports game. The realism in that game is unbelievable. Also, if there's a problem, they fix it really quick.

Sony has had there own share of bugs. What makes a difference is they are much better at communicating with us.

Do you really care where I sent this from?

I'm not one to cut EA any slack but Football seems like it may be a much harder game to develop and The Show isn't multiplatform so Sony only has to focus on the PS3

It is very true. However, SCEA has developed an unreal game engine. I agree with the post above to, SCEA is awesome about communicating especially with OS. Does EA even do this ever? I know they did with NBA Elite but I don't know if I've ever seen it for football.

SCEA is much better at talking and getting feedback EA tends to release there games then disappear and leaves us to stew over any bugs.

Ok, whose fault is it then? Who deserves the blame?

Oh wait, I forget, everyone is happy with less than mediocre.

It is their fault. And is this board just for positive commentary? Good grief, if it disturbs your sensitive disposition then by all means don't read these posts.

Ok man, because it's doing so much good to complain all the time. That really helps.

Are you serious? Lets say with just a couple of minor issues this game has(and I WISH they were just a couple and/or minor), if we all just came out and said:

"oh thank you thank you thank you its PERFECT we love you please let us have your babies!"

Why would they try to 'fix' something that isn't broken? They would just move on to make the next perfect game. "Squeaky wheel gets the grease..." ring a bell?

If nobody complained, I guarantee you EA wouldnt fix squat on this game.

If you spent your own money on this game, you have a right to complain however you want, as vociferously as you want. It's not the fact that the game cost $60, it's the principle. If it doesnt work right, it doesnt work right.

And here's the kicker....it's year after year we deal with this....especially in the patchable game era.

So let me ask opinions - is there any chance we get this patch before 2am Sat morning (west coast time)? That's when patches seem to drop more often than not for some reason, 2 am West coast time, 5 am est.

If not, Labor Day is of-course Monday and then you're looking at probably late next week I assume?

Wait. Earlier today you said you were done.

Why do you continue to to burden us with your posts?

Obviously you dony like the game. You said see ya later.
Go.
Your post is clutter now, leave this board to those who still want to play.

You madden now? Go hang there.

Done with EA? Leave. Your contribution is not helpful, not insightful, and not needed.

We kmow you hate the game, so why bother here any more?

Honestly I'd say any where between the 6th-16th seeing as the patch just got to Sony and Microsoft on the 29th the 6th being the earliest.

EA is great at communicating with us about NCAA. There are purple names all over the place from about two months prior to release until the first day or so the game is out.

Did you really just suggest that people shouldn't buy a game when it comes out, but wait for a ****ing patch so the game can be fixed, when half of this stuff should have been taken care of in the first place?
