just played both match ups. enjoyed most changes i noticed. tackling looks and feels great.
certainly nitpicky and probably something lots dont care about, but oregons yellow still looks like crap. too washed out. real suprised their national title uni's didnt make it in the game too.
noticed the gold domes in daylight look remarkably better.
Oh, and also, I forgot to mention in my post that man align doesnt work still after you call the play, I click right on the stick and guys just stay there, they also dont move for me when I do shift left or shift right for coverage with the right stick, is this just me?
I having noticed that too, in terms of man align still not working. That is incrediable annoying.
just blocked a Pat, on AA using FSU it was a little luck of timing the snap right and not getting blocked off the corner, it was sweeeeet. My DL went to pikc it up and stumbled and was called down or i would have rumbled for a little bit. Cant wait for the 12th
Just played as Oregon this time against UT and once again i was driving late for the winning TD and my drive ended with 4 straight dropped passes. Two of them fro contact, the other two in wide open field. Must be a Heisman thing I guess. I was able to drive to mid field just fine with no dropped passes, but then it just starts just like it did when I was UT.
Alright I put together these in just random situations and random down and distances just to see the CPU's reaction. When I say "Unhurried" about half of those just mean that I didn't feel pressure, some defensive player may have been closing in but I was focused on my receiver.

played 2 games on heisman, beat ut with the ducks 21-7 & lost to bama with fsu 21-0. i threw 2 picks in the endzone vs bama, and richardson is a beast. i also housed a read option w/ james vs texas from about 75 yards out. the game feels good.
1st half analysison PS3
FSU(me) 7 vs ALA 14 on AA
The all the scores were BIG plays.
Pros:
-Loved the Tackling and Collisions
-1 play that I think was there last year, but felt more realistic and smooth this year, was I collided with a defender head on and it was a stalemate.
-Scrambling feels smoother.
-Play-Action works. Huge for me since my Playbook will be a Heavy Run Prostyle, so I can use alot of PA in my offense.
Con
-Not sure if it is me but, I seem to be getting a slight delay before each CPU kickoff.
Echo what others have said....but I'll wait for the full retail. EA has shown in the past that the full version is usually superior to the demo.
Demo plays like 11 with some nice tweaks. I have had no issues with PA. Tackling is nice. I don't think it is revolutionary (like when i first played NBA 2k11) but it should be a nice upgrade this year. Ill reserve judgement until the retail though.
Played through a couple games and it's about what I expected. OK.
Pros:
- Tackling feels pretty good.
- Suctioning happens less often, but it's still there.
- QB movement in the pocket is much better.
- Haven't seen any super-human LBs, or DBs swatting passes they had no business getting to.
- Passing trajectories seem better (although they still don't look quite right and the speeds still seem too fast).
- Blocking AI seems pretty solid.
- Zone AI is better, but without replay, it's hard to know if that's actually due to better AI or if the game is just letting defenders warp around to get into position.
Cons:
- Player movement and foot planting are terrible. There's still no sense of weight or momentum with any of these players.
- Suctioning happens less often, but it's still there. (see what I did there)
- "Bowling pin" defenders are out in full force still. Consecutive-hit tackles can only be triggered during a very small animation window. Not good at all.
- OL/DL interactions are still sub-par. Too many people ending up on the ground and too many free rushers. We need more dynamic struggles in the trenches.
- Still no speed rushes.
Based on this, the game warrants a rental from me, and maybe a used-copy purchase down the line (depending on how much better the final version is), but I can't justify spending full price on this. When I see the leaps other sports games are making with their gameplay, I can't help but feel that NCAA and Madden are lagging way behind. There is so much done wrong in this game when it comes to even the most basic physics, fundamentals, and techniques that make football what it is, I am constantly taken out of the experience. However, for those of you who like the game, I sincerely hope you have a blast this year.
I'm on the PS3 version...why does it look like all the highlights take place at the same time...for example, in the game I just played, the first touchdown was scored with no.shadows on the field with the sun out...during the end of the game highlights, the play is show happening at night.
