cry me a river man. complaining about people complaining. if you don't like to read the posts don't read them. who cares if you don't care what the dreads look like, or what teambuilder looks like or has to offer. Some people just want to post about things they don't like, probably in hope it'll be fixed one day. So let me make this clear, if you don't like people complaining skip past their posts. If you you like it and wanna read them go right ahead. Just get over yourself and quit your complaining about people complaining.

thanks so much, have a lovely day

Seriously..i gotta ask EA, why no Arkansas pageantry? The Woo Pig Sooie chant is one of the most well-known traditions in college football. Should easily be one of the team specific entrances. Shows the team coming through the tunnel..cuts to the Hogs mascot leading the chant, cut back to the tunnel and you can hear the fans doing the chant, then show the team running out.

As one of the up and coming programs in the nation, it's a shame to see that Arkansas has been overlooked again. Hopefully NCAA 2013 will include this.

No I buy the game year after year and not a logo there are multiple uniforms that teams wear that are not in the game. GaTech is on of the teams I always have a dynasty with and last year without their new uniforms it detracted from it a bit. It's not a dealbreaker just something I feel should be addressed and dealt with accordingly. I can't help but feel that a patch for uniform updates isnt so difficult that it can't be done. They claim be a sim of NCAA football but to not have the correct uniforms is upsetting.

From my point of view (offline, non-exploiter, will assign sweet playbooks to every team, slider guy), this game will be amazing to me.

I would like for things to be great right out the gates but it's clear that will not be the case this year.

There are some glaring issues:

OL/DL interaction was mediocre
WRs not making an attempt to catch everything thrown their way
WR/DB interaction with ball in the air
CPU QB didn't have great pocket presence
CPU shotgun running was bad
CPU called a fake punt
To me the tackle animations are too long
Dreads are atrocious

I'm hoping some of these issues are addressed. I feel as though I can make a couple changes to them by tweaking playbooks/sliders. For the rest, I don't view them as game killers.

To each their own! I'm buying as I see a good product that will be worth $60. If you don't think that's the case, rent or don't buy.

I have no sympathy for those who cry about spending $60 on a product they do not enjoy. Nobody forced you to buy it!

All these people who are complaining about not being able to run out of the shotgun don't even know that they are probably playing on default sliders and could be adjusted to better improve the game play... just too common sensible though.. I guess people now are trained to speak before they think...

Chase is that you?? If not, Chase now has one on his side. I always love how we should just deal with it or fix the game ourselves. Even better wait until next year as that seems to always be the solution. How about they fix the game once and for all so that way we don't have to jump thru hoops or make a wishlist for next year or hope that the next patch two months later addresses the problem we have had to deal with for years now. Hmmm, I guess people are trained to ignore problems instead of speaking up for a change.

If that was in the game I would play at Arkansas just for that.

Maybe a stupid question but just saw no player editing. Does that mean we won't have someone doing rosters this year so all our players are named.

Like I said stupid question but I saw someone post no player editing.

Still no spectate...... something that I would pay for. Damn.

Question: Why has replay been removed from online play?

Good post.

I'll admit, EA had me as soon as it was confirmed that Chief Osceola and Renegade were in the game; I loved NCAA 11 and from my viewpoint, it appears NCAA 12 will be a well-polished version of that game, and that's just fine with me. I'd rather see gradual improvements year-to-year than EA blowing the game up and starting over from scratch every 12 months. No need to do that when you've got a solid base, and NCAA 11 is that solid base to build off of.

I wish FSU wasn't in the demo; I don't want to see the entrance until I have the retail version. I'll just stick to the Texas-Oregon matchup, I guess.

It is kinda depressing to see the OS staff involved in a troll war...kinda shows where the site has gone.

Back on topic, the gamepleay looked, well it looked like last year with better zones. Rather than point out the same flaws as anybody else I would like to point out one major flaw in the the demo itself.

That flaw is that 2 minute quarters do not show how the playcalling AI will work. Now this tells me that the strategic half of the game has been left untouched once more.

Those who believe this game has a solid base, while I respect your opinion, I do not understand what has given you that impression because I am more inclined to believe that this game is more like an 8 story building with a base that is being held together by bubble gum and string. *imagines old Rugrats episodes*

Anyway that is what my take on this series is, and as far as this game, I will wait until somebody posts the results of at least a 10yr sim. Hopefully this game will be good as a sim because the gameplay looks, well, the same, as in bad.

I completely agree. There's always things in NCAA and Madden that I would like to see fixed, but they're not game killers. I played a ton of NCAA 11, loved the game. Now adding a revamped RTG mode, custom playbooks, custom conferences, the better defense, and new tackling animations; I'm sold on it.

The problem is that they aren't in the game but they happen in real life.

Bad shotgun running by CPU,and no pocket presence can be fixed with sliders.
False. You can't make the AI smart enough to pick the right running lane, or get out of the pocket when necessary.

They aren't the real players.

I hate having to point out that in NCAA 11 sliders that made shotgun running efficient for the CPU made pro style teams unstoppable. It isn't an even level of efficiency universal of the slider attributes, so you have to change it week by week, which isnt a huge deal, but still, consider how glaring it was in NCAA 11 and the teams that played in the BCS game last season you would think they addressed the proble.

Well for me...
I don't care if it's an early, late or P90X build.

What I do care about is seeing some real nice videos showing me the improvements.
Too many times in the past I've seen "Played great at E3" or "I can assure you I just had a few games in a row where the DL pressure was great!!"...only to get the retail and it was no where near what it was claimed to be.

So I'm assuming by the time the game hits the stores we will see a good amount of final build videos. I'm still pumped to get the game and will be watching closely for better showings of the game.
If I see it..day 1 purchase. If I don't...I'll wait and see what kind of reviews some of the member here (that I trust) have to say about it.

Game does look somewhat better in some areas compared to 11, but I want to just make sure of a few other items.

Bottom line is, it's just a game. If you like what you see get the game...if not, don't. No reason to go on and on about it.

That doesn't help GT FANS! They have had our jerseys wrong in 09, 10, 11 and now 12! WTF!!!!!!!!!!! We are obligated via our contract with Russell to wear new jerseys each year. It may be a pain in EA's ***, but they should try and get the correct jerseys for EVERY TEAM. Just because Ga Tech isn't a powerhouse doesn't mean they should get represented wrong on the game. I feel like if FSU had new jerseys each year, EA would bend and break over getting them in each year.

OR ATLEAST GIVE US ENOUGH OPTIONS ON TEAMBUILDER TO ACTUALLY MAKE THE JERSEYS!

Advertising gameplay fixes does not really appeal to the casual fan, and I think that's why NCAA has almost never focused on these issues. EA Marketing needs gimmicks and graphics in order to market the game to the casual gamer--someone who is going to take a quick glance at it and decide whether or not they want to buy. Someone like this looking at a box describing "Improved shotgun running" or "Better line interactions" will immediately dismiss the game.

I honestly don't think NCAA caters to more hardcore/sim gamers. I don't feel that they ever have (see Mascot games, Season Showdown, et cetera). I'm not trying to make excuses or anything. I, as much as the next guy, would love to see better gameplay, but the foundation is flawed as it is and I just don't think NCAA will suddenly start lumping all their time into fixing every gameplay flaw. TB is another thing I'd like to be improved, but I suppose it is "good enough" and simply isn't on the priority list.

With all that said, since '11 I think things are really starting to roll. I'm thankful for the work these guys put in and I hope it continues to pay off in the future.
