FBGRatings Seeks to Recalibrate Madden Ratings, Change Game

I recentely sat down for a talk with FBGRatings.com's Dan Berens to discuss his site's vision and what's going on over there today. The site is currently working on getting accurate ratings for every player using real hard data converted into the Madden ratings universe. Dan claims that when these numbers are plugged into the game, it plays much better and much closer to real life. Just out of curiosity, how often are ratings updated on the site? I think I remember it being once a month before, but I could just be making that up in my mind.

I'm thinking of updating the depth charts for my rosters tonight, but if a ratings update is on the way I might just wait.

These will only work for play now until Madden does something different with CFM.

They are updated daily. Depth charts and player movement are typically handled every couple of days. Ratings changes can occur at any time, however.

I assume this is only for gamers who only play 1 single season. Since Rookies can`t be edited and they will "break" the Overall ratings.

I`m correct?

Does this are in the roster share section for PS4? what`s the name? i want to give it a shot.

Im one who has to edit every player in the nfls attributes gets me so more into the game but it does take some time but well worth it !!! I do the same for mlb the show so talk about taking a while 2 finish all those players in mlb aaa aa ..... didnt know u can make a job out of it that would be awesome !!! HaHa

Have these edits improved the special teams game (kr, pr, blocked kicks)?

Returns feel more organic. Harder to make big plays. The ratings encourages you to read blocks properly and take what they are giving you. This is also true on regular running plays. You really have to focus on your reads.

When I go to recent player changes on the site it has everybody listed alphabetically by last name, which is nice, but I was wondering if there was any way to sort by who was MOST recently updated. I have the ratings done up to a certain date, and it would be very convenient to be able to see a list of every player updated since that date.

You have to look at each individual roster at the + or - next to each player. Then, check the dates that they were last updated on the player profile page. I cannot yet organize the recently updated page chronologically. Sorry.

Can you not use one of the Roster Editors to edit draft classes to FBG scale then import them into the game? I know you can't import in 15 but you can in 25. Would it work?

All,

A very large update is being uploaded now. Should be up in about 2 hours. All 26,535 players have been updated with about 275 getting an OVR rating change. All the rest have had some attribute changes (you can tell because their +/- is now +0).

Madden needs alot more work than just ratings adjustments.

I decided to use these rosters and so far I enjoy them quite a bit ( I've completed two teams so far ) but I feel like something is missing. Does anyone have a good slider set recommendation to use with these ratings I've searched the sliders forum but I've had no luck

Depends how strength is used by each position, but in each player's combine, they both benched 23 reps...so If anything, they should have equal strength...
