congrats EA. You just got another $60 from me for this game. I have been disappointed with this series for the past few years, but the addition of Augusta makes this a no doubt first day buy for me.

It was a buy before that news, but man, they are bringing it this year. An actual reason to buy the DLC courses now!

Finally this alone is the most amazing thing that I think we have all been waiting for. Thanks Divot you have just made my day. This is a first day pick up and has the potential to be that last golf game I buy.

By the way I was Psychotic Coffee on the old Tiger forums I believe you and I have had some good discussion about previous games. Hope you are doing well.

Divot - big question, I asked this as did many others last year.

Can True Aim be set as an option online - please say yes.

I would LOVE an online career mode.

Even just a two player offline career mode would make me extremely happy like they used to have on the PS2.

Very upset that there doesn't appear to be Kinect support

Honestly this game could be complete crap, but now that I can finally play at Augusta I will buy this day 1.

Yeah, but 2K11 delivered on outstanding gameplay, not just the MJ image. It is yet to be seen if this is the true crown jewel of the TW series or just more brand whoring with no substance.

Just watched some of the live stream, it all looked very nice....................until they showed the same robotic swing mechanics, crap ball physics, and my one true hate - BALL CAM!

Caddies are a great addition, but i think we're just in for another yearly course and feature update, nothing revolutionary.

There ARE other cameras in the game....The Move version is getting TrueView......and I can't share your doom and gloom comments, sorry.

What exactly is wrong with the ball physics?

What's not wrong with the ball physics! In real life the ball does not fly in a perfect arc, when a good golfer strikes a ball it climbs upwards to it's highpoint then drops steeply. Many people are not aware that a professional golfer hits all their clubs the same height (driver would be the exception) a 3 iron would reach the same height as a 9 iron, but just further along. I could go on about how bad the ball spin is for another two pages.

The game of golf is all about the ball, and if you can't capture accurately how it actually flies through the air and reacts when it hits the ground, that's not good enough IMO, especially after all the years they've had to work on it.

Sorry, but I disagree. In TW11, you could watch the arc of your ball with the blue tracer in TrueAim and I hate to tell you this, but the ball flight was NOT what you describe above as "a perfect arc". The ball flight in TW11 is like your second comment, especially noticeable in TruAim with the ball tracer on.

As far as ball spin, it hasn't been perfect, but certainly not a show stopper at all. Can't say I buy your argument that the ball physics are so bad, but then again everyone is entitled to their opinion......

Only EA gets me excited for 3D Grass.

At long last. The ability to save your game during a round of golf.

Interested to see what the broadcast presentation will be all about. Commentary on the the entire EA golf series has always been consistently dull. Hopefully this year will see a big improvement.

It's good to have the Masters in the game. I personally would like to see more licensed tournaments across the various courses to be made available to play as single events outside of the career mode. The old EA PGA titles back on the Megadrive used to have these.

I'm suprised you had to ask the question DivotMaker. The ball seems to travel on a pre-determined path as well, so we the same shots all the time. There's no randomness to it. It never feels like "this could go anywhere" when I play TW, and it should because that's what real golf is like.
Sorry, but I have not noticed this, especially playing with the PS3 Move.
