Fighting my first strike force match. Highlights soon to follow.

Edit: Loading highlights to EA website is down. Sucks cause I got a beast combo I wanted to put up. My first TKO with my weak punching career fighter. Adding the spinning back fist paid off

A question for you guys with the game:

Does denying a takedown attempt always end with either a knee to the face or sprawl and brawl?

Have you ever seen the defender just stuff the takedown attempt and then go back to standing?

Yes, some do end with them standing.

It is just they should of never included a 10/7 score and should of left the 10/8s to be very rare.

With that said, it is one of the only glaring areas that needs a patch. With that said, I see zero reason for it not getting patched.
Most of the time? I don't think most of the time world work in Madden or NBA 2k, so it shouldn't fly here either. You have to award the right person or team with the win every time, that's fundamental.

I understand some judges looking for different things, scoring differently, but how they score, regardless of their criteria seems to be pretty flawed.

Like I've said before if you drop a round 10-7 in what was in reality a close fight then you've basically been screwed. It's going to be damn hard to make up for any bogus 10-7 rounds. With that said any fight in which a 10-7 is given the judging in essence was incorrect. If they're giving out 10-7's I can assume there are even more 10-8's as well, which should be extremely rare.

It definitely should be patched, I agree, so I'll be keeping my eye on this and will certainly grab it the second they fix this issue.

I've only been able to play this long enough to get in a few matches, but I'm really liking it. The stand-up moves are well implemented, as are the takedowns. The takedowns are really fun, too.

This game is quite a bit better than the one put out by THQ, and I NEVER would have thought I'd be saying that 6 months ago. EA really put some work into this one, and so far I highly recommend it based on gameplay alone.

I gave the demo another spin last night and finally was able to nail down the controls. This is much more enjoyable now that I know what I'm doing vs. before where I felt like I was playing this like a UFC game. Button mashing will get you knocked out rather quickly.

Has anyone tried the gameface yet? Does it accurately scan in your face or is it a pain like other games have been in the past?

Is it me or has some of the hype died down for this title as not many people are posting about it anymore?

I use my gameface. It is super easy. You load a head shot from your PC into your profile and then when you sign on the game it asks if you want to use a gameface. It then renders it into the game and boom complete.

It is not 100% accurate but is better than not having it.
