Pass defence improved a bit ,not drastically that you couldnt get 100passing yards , but its improved and 4verticals arent cheating anymore.
Cool. Thanks. Can't wait for 360 patch.

why mess with the kick meter? there was nothing wrong with it as it was offline wise.never play online so cant comment on that.making it slower just because new players to the game cant kick is stupid.Fix the franchise mode EA.Make it something similar to the fifa series, just being able to create yourself as a headcoach and get a 20 year career would be a start.
Still i love the game, and will no doubt get used to the meter.

well for patch 1.02 the 360 one came out later the same day as the ps3 one so it will prolly be out later this afternoon like last time. why they do it this way is stupid though

Thanks to extensive slider tweaking I'm currently very happy with how my Madden plays. I would like to download the patch but if I decide I don't like it how can I revert back to 1.02?

Thanks in advance.

The only way possible to go back to 1.02 would be to clear your system cache and manually download patch 1.02 from the internet and transfer it to your 360.

from what me and a friend have tested online....all madden 8 min acc clock

* Fixing a bug to allow friend invites to ranked games - fixed
* Generally making pass defense more effective - nothing noticeable here
* Reducing number of broken tackles - again, chris johnson breaks every 1st tackle...nothing noticeable
* Fixing user blitz exploit(s) - we can both still nano out of the 46 and spy glitch 34 predator cover 3
* Tuning injuries - didn't have any major ones in 2 games
* Tuning CPU & GameFlow play-calling logic - i don't know anyone who uses it so was unable to test
* Improving play action blocking - this was a big one. we each tried to set these up, i used matt ryan he used phillip rivers...we tried PA vs zone, man and blitzes for each d. nothing noticeable, after 6 consecutive runs we would try the playaction. i was 4-10 2 sacks 6 hits he was 2-10 4 sacks 6 hits.

this was our test, upon replay review in practice mode i see the exact same run blocking on PA passes when i compare them to my 1.02 vids. the zone d seems the same to be, but i never thought it was that bad to begin with on all-madden since i user controlled as much as possible anyways.

oh, and about kick returns...the inside out return is still easily doable...almost easier now as we both went 4/4 on kick returns for td's.

the kick meter...just ruined the thrill of me or my opp possibly missing a kick...

i have NO idea what misc gameplay balancing means...hopefully not any more rubberband ai.

Yea, Kick Returns will be easier, because people were actually complaining before Kick Returns were too hard. Which I never understood, now I will probably see more Kick Returns online.

Curious about something--I never downloaded the 2nd patch that had Breast Cancer Awareness and other in game fixes. Now a 3rd patch is out.

If I download the 3rd, does that mean I can't get the second?

No, usually the patch just replaces the old patch. It includes everything.

Edit: Is anyone noticing huge differences with sliders after the patch?

Please, someone with the power to talk to Ian Cummings tell him that the kicking field goal situation via this new patch is ridiculous. I liked it before, where no field goal was a given. It actually made kicking field goals fun...

I mean... in the second patch they claim they made stability to the field goal kicking system, and in this new patch, they just butchered the fun out of kicking field goals. That meter is way to slow... someone talk to Ian Cummings about a fix tonight. That's how serious I think it is.

disconnect my PS3 from the internet then? Check.

What concerns me is the Gameflow logic.. was it tuned?

I know it sounds weird, but maybe that isnīt the third patch! I donīt see any posts at the Madden 11 site or at Twitter. Maybe itīs a lil patch between both...it would explain why the most stuff isnīt fixed at all except the Kicking Meter!
