	"Over the past few years, we have implemented some very successful features in NBA.com, Player Roles, Player Ambitions, Player Morale, Player Personalities, and so on. I feel like these additions have defined the 2K Association experience. Moving forward, I would like The Association to be defined by something completely different, and that�s the smartest AI of any franchise mode across all sports titles. To achieve this goal, the main focus for us this year has been to completely re-write the underlying logic that drives the mode, along with adding new systems that will help the AI to make the smartest decisions possible at all times. Every time the CPU makes a move, they are making it for a very precise reason. It may not be completely evident to you at first as they often think two, three, even four steps ahead, but they are always thinking, always assessing. They have brains this year folks; here is how we did it�"

Wow, sounds almost too good to be true! Thank you, 2K! Finally no more CPU teams stacked at one position, and finally NO MORE BLACK SILHOUETTES! I assume this is also true for created players and not just drafted players. What do you guys think? 2K is KNOCKING OUT the competition

They added everything I wanted and more. Now I just want to time travel to the 5th of October and play the heck out of this game. I'm also looking forward to the first weekend with the game so I can pull an all nighter playing it.

Everything sounds great. Was hoping to hear something about scouting but if nothing changes I'll still be satisfied with all the other improvements.

I don't know what to say. Even if this is all in theory, the franchise has taken a giant leap in the right direction. I think a lot of people including myself will be made happy by the team direction, and improved AI.

The draft stuff is cool but i'm not sure Sam Presti would trade a first rounder for J Rich unless James Harden turns out to be a complete bum and Sefolosha's passport get's revoked but i digress. I don't think i've ever been more excited for a video game release in my entire life...

Man, this is insane. Seems an extraordinary amount of effort and thought was put into this year's game.

Just fixing the silhouette issue, for me, is enough for me to say that I probably won't have much of a life for the next twelve months.

All sounds great. Just one question. Can we still select more than one user for Association?????? I usually select all of the teams and me and my friends play.

Yeah that was a head scratcher but Im not paying any of that any mind untill I see how it works in person, that trade can look great or bad depending on whats actually happening in your association, not to mention last year they showed a trade involving the Blazers which looked good but we all know how that AI turned out...

Like Jukeman, I'd like a Coach's Carousel also. That along with a weekly wrap-up show made me coming back to College Hoops again and again.

Unfortunately, I think the wrap up show idea has gone by the wayside because the NBA.com feature was thought to suffice for league news and immersion.

I'm impressed by all the logic changes for the Association, and with them all coming in so short a time is stellar. I've just never had a hook big enough to keep me coming back to an NBA season to actually play a whole one out - probably some of that is due to a College BBall bias, although I've been a big NBA fan for the last few years.

And then some. Their effort this year is beyond ridiculous - any expectation I have they don't just meet, they blow through and establish some new high bar. I'm sure there will be things that don't work perfectly, just no way to account for all the new variables they've thrown in this year. But they have to be respected for pushing the envelope. If even half the stuff works as advertised it's more than what other devs attempt to accomplish in a single development cycle

I don't thing we ever give SimBaller enough props for the work he does in the Association mode. Great job Erick.

In terms of what I'm looking for in a sports game, its clear to me, that barring some unpatchable bugs/glitches, this game will be the best sports game of all time, period. In fact, it may surpass games like Planescape: Torment, Ultima VII, and Xenogears, to become my favorite game ever across all genres.

I'm not even anxious for October 5th to get here. Whenever I feel 100% certain that a game is going to be a masterpiece, I actually become more relaxed, and can wait patiently for the game to come out.

I will say that I'm not sad that October 5th is a mandated day off for our school district.

Loving the upgrade of the association...player finder and trade finder will be my new best friends. Visit the White House,very nice.
