NBA Elite 11 Demo Available, Post Impressions Here (PS3, 360)

The NBA Elite 11 demo is available for PS3 users. If you don't see it, just use the search function in the PSN Store, it weighs in at 923 MB.

The 360 demo should be arriving at around 5:00 - 9:00AM EST. When it is available, we will update this post.

UPDATE: The 360 demo is now up. Queue it up right here.

Yes. And I like how it works most of the time in Madden in the time I've played it. I just feel it conflicts with what I feel would be the proper timing.

BTW, some of you guys need to remember to respect the devs here. Saying heads will roll and stuff like that is not right. You are talking about people's livelihood. Just saying.

I really think EA was trying to be too cute with this series and attempted to bring it back. last year's game was actually really good, they just needed to add more too it. But now it took 3 steps back.

Is impossile to play both 2k and elite this year, you buy one or the other, or you play one after the other, because everything is so different, but to be honest, elite is pretty terrible in comparison to before, I think they change way too much, the graphics and animations aren't that great either, so right now, I really don't know what makes us want to practice and learn the controls~ and AI plays horrible, the game feel scripted, if you don't score, they won't, if you do they do, just to keep the scores close...urgh off to shower not playing this anymore~

Thats the truth.

This game doesn't feel worth 60 bucks, and a partial NBA Jam game doesn't make me want to shell out 60 bucks either.

Guess it would pertain more to the individuals that are multi-platform then. If you have a 360, I'd avoid this and wait for the demo there. If you're stuck with PS3 only, then obviously this wouldn't be something that pertains to you.

Frame-rate seems very rough here and doesn't accurately portray the game. Reminds me of The Orange Box on the PS3 (inferior to the PC and 360 versions).

so far it "feels" pretty good, definately have to get used to the controls.

but not so happy about the passing changes or maybe I don't know how to free style pass yet.

once I figure out the new passing, I think we got something here.

it definately "feels" better than it looks, but I'm sure with some practice you can make it look right maybe if you guys put out a move list, that would be helpful!

Where's the NBA Jam demo!?! LOL. I'm sorry I just can't get with this game, I was a fan of Live 09 and Live 10 until they ruined it with the patches. With that said this game is just garbage to me. Pure garbage imo. Bad animations, goofy controls, bad graphics(still waiting to see on 360), it's just a mess. I wish EA luck.

Well I just changed my view to broadcast (before the tip off) and change the controls back to buttons (after the game start). The game feels a little better. But I think it's time to move on anyway.

I'm soooo disappointed with this game. I had high hopes after Live 10 showed flashes of briliance. They just needed to polish that game.

Graphics are BRUTAL!!! Feels very generic. Shooting actually feels good but other than that...it's all downhill.

Live 06 for the 360 looks way better than this game. I've had every EA basketball game since Lakers vs Celtics for the PC...I think this will be the the first time I won't pick up an EA NBA licensed basketball title.

It's being more heart breaking than Live 07 for me, really. Sorry for the devs here in the thread. I really wanted to enjoy this game.

My last hope is downloading it for the 360 and have a good surprise...but the chances are slim to none.

I'ma "keep it real" as they say - LOVE the controls, especially in the tutorial, but every thing is moving and animating way too fast in 5v5. The animations need work and the game look stripped down but I like playing it in low baseline cam as opposed to my beloved broadcast cam. The game seems virtually unplayable in broadcast cam, to me.
I think if the speed is slowed down, and I hope there is a slider in the retail version for that yet I somehow doubt it, it could make a big difference. I think the game moves this fast to be able to pull off the 1:1 controls but it suffers because of it.

That is ironic. It works for the other games, so it should be fine for this one. No one is complaining.

Yea first time for me not buying live too, elite I mean, I am sad to be honest, so disappointed!!!
