When 2k released their demo last year of 2k10, did it compare to the full game? NO. There was no NBA Today to give the game life. Those who really played the game know how big a piece o the puzzle that was.
Yes it did compare to the full game. You could see many of the same flaws namely lead passing and juiced shooting percentages.

You have to make another video like last year to showcase the different types of shots. The one pushing the right stick in the opposite direction while moving is just too awesome.

This is really great news. This is one of the things that I always criticized 2k for. IMO it was the "other" games strongest feature, and really made the game feel more fun. This can only mean great things for 2k...especially since 2k does so many other things right. Momentum jumpshots..this is a KEY thing for me. Do you know if they can only be done with the right stick, or can they be done with the button?

That was the first thing I tried out. I was so happy to see that you are able to pull of the the momentum shots with the button

Agreed, you could zip back a guy 10 feet who was running in the opposite direction. Looked terrible.

From what I can see the players have more wieght and momentum to them (they seem to have to gather more before stopping or changing direction), so hopefully that helps balance it a bit.

Couldn't be much happier reading this..Thanks man. Jumpshooting might actually be fun this year! Might just pre-order this now. Surprised 2k isn't pushing this a little more as far as marketing. I know alot of people who really wanted this in 2k11.

I liked everything except a bit of mario running at the begining with Chandler and the Layup high off the backboard by Chalmers at the end.

The dribbling sequence by LBJ to avoid the swarming D was nice.

Oh and there is a total new way of double teaming in the game. You can select the player who comes for help. I didnt know what I could do next (there was a new icon over the players) - so i guess more options with that.

Video 8 should be up in a minute - I really have to go to sleep now

Yeah that was one area where people that played Live had a tough time describing what it was. http://www.2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=261113

funny thread of people trying to explain it

This game looks amazing to me all things considered. I love the new shots for Wade, Bosh, Haslem, Lebron and Dirk... All the faces look really cleaned up along with the body types, momentum shots are lovely, foot planting is apparent and the computer AI even on that default level seems more intelligent. The more I see, the better it looks. I can see myself speeding up the game a touch but that's about it(besides sim/HOF of course).

I could be partial because I'm a Heat fan too...lol

Not feeling the pumpfakes at all. Of course it's going to be more of an eyesore when a guy sits there and does 5 in a row, but nonetheless it's just stiff and ugly.

They are too hunched over and use way too much arm movement. If the rest of the body raised up as well with the fake it would look a lot better.

Hopefully they can tweak this before release.

EDIT: It also seems that everybody has the same pumpfake animation....odd.

He should if Wade isnt full speed.

Video number 8 is PS3 and has LESS camera men. Indicative of the final product??

I'm a PS3 owner and read that 2K10 had less camera men than 360. Was that ever confirmed??

If you're referring to what J. Kidd was doing then those are the fake passes broski....

I LOVE the ball movement in video 8, and the way the computer teammates are not cheesily losing their assignments as in 2K10. In 2K10 that would have surely been an open 3. Additionally, it shows how well the court spacing actually is.

The D-Wade turn around in the last vid was very lifelike. Too bad it got blocked.

Also...anybody notice that the dunks seem to a little slow and floaty? The trailer dunks looked great...

Only now I realized why the teams are Heat vs Mavs. People wanted 2K7, so 2K is like saying: "You wanted 2K7, you got 2K7's demo"...

I know I'm late to the party (just walked in), but I already watched all the 8 videos, and except for the (probably) control issues the the user has, I really liked what I saw!

Looks like the 25 second shot clock is gone too....
