Is it just me, or does it look like the exact same game?
The lighting looks a little better, but the "improved presentation" looks exactly the same.
Id doesn't look like any gameplay improvements, but that is something that can be felt and not seen.
Its like Elite did so much work to improve the gameplay, that is something that will effect the awesomeness of the game, not Jordan. It just seems like 2k is putting out the same game with a few minor adjustments, and banking on Jordan to sell the game.
For the same reason why I won't buy Madden 11, its looking like that is going to be the case with 2k11. I refuse to buy the same game when I can just download updated rosters.
it's just you
how can you even know if either game has done much work to improve their gameplay if you haven't played them yet or what's even worse haven't seen any high quality 5 on 5 gameplay
I don't understand the point of comments like these. What Beluba and Czar stated isn't relevant to this particular video which people are discussing.
If they made a lot of changes and this is an old build that's great. When the demo/full version drops or new video leaks we can comment on that. Right now we can only comment on what we see.
yeah but the way people act like its the final product...jeebus....READ!!!
Not really seeing the improved presentation..game starts exactly like last years. Gonna chalk that up to it being just a demo though. All I can say is I'm not really impressed..probably won't be able to enjoy the game until I get to play it..or atleast see one of these dudes shoot a freakin jumpshot..lol

And based on the early videos from previous NBA 2k games and previous NBA Live games what we see is usually a lot closer to what we get than what we read so I'm with you. If someone thats not that good at Fifa, or Winnings eleven, both the NHL games or Backbreaker picks up the controller and plays the game for the first time you wont see them abusing the CPU's defense like they do in the early NBA 2k videos. Just once I would like to see the CPU's defense whether it be the offball guys for a user or the CPU by itself play with some guts and not silver platter dunks and easy hooks/layups like that.
Look everybody is not going to be pleased or they just gonna make up stuff because they play that other half *** basketball game. The real 2k fans know that this video shows much progress and that the game looks very good. You got one guy talking about the steal being a canned animations for steals. If you look at the video Haywood was using turbo, but was not locked into a set animation. There are physics in the game so there will be contact and thats exactly what happened. Haywood used turbo made contact with wade while trying to steal the ball. The end result was D-wade losing the ball. Lets not forget the game is on casual so there was no foul called. Guys really need a bigger TV or Monitor because i just zoomed in 160% and didn't any canned animations.
Brendan Haywood w/ turbo still should not be even close to D Wade. I don't wanna be playing as a rookie Jordan and have Robert Parish chasing me down poking the ball away LOL. Is there a speed threshold setting like NCAA football or Madden? That'd be an idea
I've been trying to keep up with this thread but it's hard so I apologize if this has been mentioned but, do the names on the backs of the jerseys look small to anyone? They appear scrunched and I'm not sure if that's the way they're going to be in real life this year or what.
One thing I still was hoping to see...More explosiveness from elite players like Wade. In the very first video around the 1:20 mark, it seems like he spins his wheels for a split second when it should be certain type of burst only he and a few others can do.
LBJ's new jumper looks solid to me. Looks like the player released it early though so it's hard to tell for sure.
Can't wait to see some sim footage from guys that actually know how to play. You can see obvious improvements, but it's just hard to appreciate them when guys are running around mindlessly on offense and constantly switching on defense.

yes...that is where 2k's dribbling locomotion is still lacking. in 2k you can't do that explosive "first step" where you take a fast player and just have him burst into a drive. Rather, 2k has made it so that the dribbler will kind of slowly shuffle his feet for like 3-4 steps before he speeds up. This just makes the dribbling feel sluggish. I know - not every player should be able to "explode" into a drive like this, but certain fast players should be able to. Fix it 2k.
Hey im back from Gamescom and uploading some videos atm. You can take a look at the first post from my site www.nbagames.de - I update the site as soon as new videos are ready.

You know, just have to throw this out there since a few of you guys can't put two and two together:
When 2k released their demo last year of 2k10, did it compare to the full game? NO. There was no NBA Today to give the game life. Those who really played the game know how big a piece o the puzzle that was.
But thus will go ignored and people will still complain despite common sense here.
Meh. A few of you guys really ruin this forum because of nonsense like this.
