Beluba i really hope other modes in the game have been address including association mode and myplayer it seems as if u guys are putting alot of focus on the mj mode and im scared that myplayer and association will not see any changes
Why do people think that focus on one area means a lack of focus in other areas totally unrelated. I'm sure they have people focused on gameplay, and other people focused on Association, and other people focus on My Player, and so on. I can't wait to see what's in store for My Player. I may actually play more of it this year if the things I felt needed fixing are actually fixed...
Put a little more thought in the comments. It's embarrassing to keep promoting our community to developers and then have them be subjected to reactions such as this.
Imagine the devs having to sift through LONG threads like this to find what people REALLY think, but have to push aside the posts that do nothing but troll. Or gripe just to look like some expert that's hard to please. Props to Wang for his patience. I'm sure he has a TON of work to do.
Didn't say the 'top of the backboard', but plenty leave it on the top corner of the box. *Shorter* guys tend to put it higher on the glass when defenders are around.
I do agree however that where Chalmers put it off the glass in that video was mighty high, having looked at it again.
my bad, i must have read it wrong. but what you said makes sense relative to the square. it's possible they designed the game like this to reduce the number of blocks? definite possibility there.

i checked the other threads and saw several comments. to be fair, i think 2k made big strides last year with making layups a little more natural looking compared with previous years. it could still get a lot better though i think and i just saw the 8 minute video. check it out at 4:50. these situations are just pretty awkward and don't look realistic at all. it's not game breaking though.
there are also some pretty weird ball physics where the ball seemingly rolls up someone's arm on a blocked shot (like 6:10 of the video). it sort of reminds me of things i've seen in some other bball game...
some of the short missed shots where the ball hits the back of the rim sort of bounce off slowly (like at 2:45) and it would be very cool if 2k added some instances where the ball took quick, sharp bounces off of the rim. think of bricking a shot short on the front of the rim where the ball glances off the rim sharply. i think this could even help the transition game as rebounds would be quicker and give the D a little less time to get back.
don't get me wrong, the game looks great already but hopefully these things can be improved upon and would make the experience a lot more realistic both visually and gameplay-wise.
I hate to be "that guy," but the NBA logoman is on the wrong side of the Miami Heat jersey. Miami is the only team with the logoman on the right lapel, but 2K incorrectly has in on the left like all the other teams.
EDIT: I may be wrong on this. This is from the rookie photo shoot:
But the LeBron-and-Bosh announcement media conditionally have the logoman on the other side. Perplexing, but I will trust 2K on this.
The Heat are the only team in the league who wear the NBA logo on the opposite side..So the one Wade/Bosh are wearing are the current ones(real life). No idea what 2k is gonna do.
+ love the fact Wade dribbled off his leg after trying to push the ball into pressure, turnovers without steals being recorded always good for sim stats, yes!
How about the fact that it was because Haywood of all people was keeping up with him up the court, banged into him (that two player animation where a center can miraculously catches up with a point guard and knocks him back when you try and steal the ball), and reached in. I see that stuff all the time in 2k10 and it annoys me to no end. If Wade pushes it, Haywood is not catching him, they never call the blocking foul when you smash into a guy, and then somehow you can reach in, jar the ball loose, and have it bounce off of a players leg for the turnover.
