2k I dont understand why the commentators don't finish off there sentences after a big dunk or something..... why? i dont get it.... I actually want to hear what they have to say....why do they stop halfway through and dont even mention what they were going to say....come on it actually angers me sometimes..... This was one of the issues that several people were asking to get fixed since 2k10....and it looks like you guys havnt fixed it....
Anyways good job overall though...
I agree with you, the cut off just doesn't seem to fit in right at all times and some plays will just be mediocre at best and they will amp it up cutting off the sideline reporter, would be nice to hear them interrupt for a sec then pick up where they started or even if they cut off the sideline reporter usually in a regular broadcast they won't cut off the sideline reporter once they go to them if they do it's nothing overbearing and the sideline reporter will continue to talk as play continues.
Court/player size ratio is way off. Other than that I like what i see so far. Everything looks improved except for this ratio.
why do people keep using these 2 photos to talk about court and player sizes, ESPN and TNT broadcast their games differently, TNT is alot more zoomed in, 2k brought in someone from TNT to help with their presentation, if you want a better example go to page 27 where there is a photo of a TNT game in Dallas vs 2k11 and you still see it is spot on.
It's not the difficulty alone. The sliders will affect it as well. The ball would not go around the opponent's head in one occasion without the AI knowing; instead it could be tipped and forced into a turnover. That's what the simulation gamestyle could help improve, if executed well.
I hope so !
Passes in 2k have bothered me for so long. Instead of reacting to a pass that's right by their heads ,defenders at times would transform into lawn chairs.....its like they freeze in a time warp or something and forget to react to a ball a inch away from their faces...
BTW when I said "gamesim" earlier, I obviously meant gamestyle. about 5 hours ago via web
The Gamescon demo is set as default gamesim. I have been trying to capture some footage for you all the past couple days at sim level. about 6 hours ago via web
Then it is as I figured.. default pro which has always had weak defense and high shooting percentages. That makes me feel a little better but still that Joel Anthony pass defense, and the matador onball man defense by LeBron is something I wouldn't even want to see on casual rookie.
the passing bothers me a lot. kidd making that pass through the defender's head is troubling. changing the "gamestyle" isn't going to solve a problem like that. that's a physics and animation problem, not a gamestyle problem.
Looks like i'm not the only one concerned with the passing.
btw Is head tracking finally going to be implemented ?
Watch the sequence from 1:30 - 1:45. Focus on D-Wades defense the whole time. This is something we haven't seen in previous years.
Thats true. He even roams around. They just need to do something with the defense after the catch. LeBron and Joel looked like they were dodging their man.
That is the right shot to do at that point. There are too many guys/congestion around him to get off one of his fadeaways that he does. I've seen him put up something like that before, so it's not out the realm of possibilities.
Also, why did Ilgauskas come in RIGHT off the bench? Didn't even go check in at the scorer's table or anything
Yeah. Didn't see him take off his warmup either. Maybe he already did.
Yea its really killing me because besides the fact that its generally unrealistic, the problem with them is that they appear so easy that if you miss it gives off the feeling of being cheated. It should be a contextual jumper that requires no timing, similar to the hook, just more realistic.
