What i saw
- the game looks more calmed down but still see too much hyper active movements
- The player models on some players are wrong. Brendan Haywood doesn't have fat legs like Quentin Richardson..
- Looks like I can still pass around defenders without a care in the world. Kidd was passing all through the defender. The defender was too busy looking at the hot chick in the stands..
- Kellogg is back ..>_>
- Doris Burke is a plus..i think she's great at commentating
- The court is small , alot of people have eluded to that already..
I need to see more footage though.....because i'm not so impressed of what looked like 2k10 with updated rosters
You must have not read anything in this thread. LOL
This game looks amazing. Can NBA Elite compete with this? 2K has always been ahead but Elite is definitely closing the gap this year. I really want to compare 2K and EA's demos when they come out.
I don't like this at all. Kidd being able to throw a pass like that and not having to pay for it. Wade should be able to defend a pass that passes right by his head....i know kidd is a HoF but c'mon ...

Its on Casual (rookie) mode; it's made for alot of points.

Why does everyone keep saying this like its fact. Ronnie said it was on default sim which was probably a mistake. It was probably on default pro which isnt rookie casual.
It's not the court sizes. They shrunk the player sizes last year and that helped immensely.
It's the control that limits the feeling of spacing. Moves cover too much ground and the clunky control didn't help.
It should be much better this year, especially the plays. A lot of work was put into them.
Many of the camera angle have different levels of depth, that's why when you play from the nosebleed angle things look like they are sized very well. It's this level of depth that really screws up the perceived sizing of the courts.
It's not people are wrong... they "look" off, but the camera angle plays a big part of it.
Figured it was PC. They're not displaying 360 or PS3 at Gamescom?
Sigh,...ONCE again this is a demo this is not the Final Game we are still a month away from the game so stop Raging and QQing.
Also @ Altimus I doubt thats PC version being showed at Gamescom it had the Xbox 360 Symbol showed for the Icon passing.
They're probably using the 360 controller which would bring up the 360 icons. Pared says PC so I'll take his word on it although it would be surprising if it was PC.

BTW when I said "gamesim" earlier, I obviously meant gamestyle. about 5 hours ago via web
The Gamescon demo is set as default gamesim. I have been trying to capture some footage for you all the past couple days at sim level. about 6 hours ago via web

For us here, its pretty much a lock that only simulation or custom gamestyle, at All Star or higher difficulty will be what we would consider "playable". We may not see footage of any of those setting combos until early October.
Casual and even Default isn't going to work for us.
For some reason that footage did nothing for me. I still dont see guys cutting and running the half court with any sort of urgency. It seems like they are just kinda playing a relaxed game of ball sometimes.
I hope that was all just because the Human player was straight garbage.
