Wow, people sure can assess the game after a 2 minute video of a screen playing 2K11.
Court spacing, headband colors, defense, gamestyle, everything's scrutinized after watching a 2 minute clip of something that's probably not the latest build, has poor video quality, poor sound etc.
I'm mixed. On one hand it looks great, but I saw some terribly concerning issues that will give me 2k10 nightmares all over again. Can't wait to try out the demo, but I'm lowering my expectations a lot now.
Dude everyone on the basketball forum knows who you are and what game you prefer so please don't try to pretend like you are an objective person.
Lol... at this point, there is no need to sound like a broken record. Let these guys make their ignorant statements. Guys do this every year and get the game anyway. And if they don't, who cares really?
Saw some good, saw some bad.... I can't wait for the demo to test the new controls.
Off Topic: Why is everyone getting attacked for stating opinions??? That is what a forum is for. We have mods in here allowing guys to tell people to basically to leave the thread, if you are objective to this game. We are a better community than that. SMH

The mods are here to enforce the TOS, and thats exactly what is happening. If you see a TOS violation then report it. Thank You very much
Interesting. Since the 3rd pic is NBA 2K9, the one below is 2K10.
A more zoomed out pic:
Compare left side of the court with the very first picture.
I don't know about others but in 2K10 whenever I played at the Mavs arena strange things occurred. For example when both teams comes out of a time-out the music keeps playing. Also the 'Let's go Mavs" chants would go on for a minute.
Also since some complained about the ESPN camera angle/zoom here is a TNT one:
Watch at around the 5 second mark. Or pause it around the 10-11 second mark.
Warning, Just my opinion from what I saw in the 2 minute video:Regardless of sim or arcade setting, I saw quite a few things that bugged me about 2k10 like passing and the defensive stance. On the other hand, the dribbling looked improved.

Until we get some gameplay that examines not only how the selection of play style affects gameplay but also how difficulty in addition to game style affects how the game looks and feels you can't really say how the game will play based on this video, Beluba came on here and verified that the game was default pro, then said that mode is about 70 percent casual 30 percent sim trying to dig to deep into AI flaws in game play in this mode wont get you anywhere.
2k I dont understand why the commentators don't finish off there sentences after a big dunk or something..... why? i dont get it.... I actually want to hear what they have to say....why do they stop halfway through and dont even mention what they were going to say....come on it actually angers me sometimes..... This was one of the issues that several people were asking to get fixed since 2k10....and it looks like you guys havnt fixed it....
Anyways good job overall though...
It doesn't bother me because I knew what they were going to say anyways.

You just completely ignored what I said. Lets try again. REGARDLESS OF GAME SETTING. I didn't claim to know how the game will play. I simply stated what I liked and didnt like BASED ON THE VIDEO.

uh...time to put down the controller and go outside...plus its just a game trying to mimic whats being broadcast during a live game...i can only agree with having the convo getting picked up where they left of again after a big dunk or play....
add it to the wishlist for next year...if it doesnt get fixed then its time to take some happy pills while playing a game...

because it's their job to tell people what is going on on the the court so if they are just taking about some random facts and something happens on the court their suppose to stop what they are saying and tell the world, have you never watched a NBA game on TV before as long as they pick up where they left off there is no real problem, I hope they do address the third reports so never finished her statement.
I love how the games like 48 Days away from coming out and we see one gameplay clip and now its like "Oh court size is all wrong, spacing is worst." Stop complaining the game isnt even finish yet....
48 days isn't a lot of time, the games are usually done at least 3 weeks ahead of time, then they ship it to the stores so in essence they have about 2-3 weeks left of tuning, which I believe will be for bugs and other glitches.
I've seen games "leaked sometimes well over a month in advance".
I wouldn't put much stock into that demo myself as it didn't show off much of anything. It seems a bit "up tempo" from 2k10 but didn't see the interactions with the players that they said would be there.
If that was Human vs CPU then that's not good hopefully it was human versus human just playing inside ball.
I never worry about 2k basketball even though they jerked us around a bit for 2 months fixing the game, and many had to make a new association I believe this will be playable right out of the box. *Fingers crossed*

I thought I clearly addressed your comment, 2k released a statement about how certain setting would affect the gameplay so I don't know where your confusion comes from, this is the first video where you can clearly see this in play the video was set to a level and difficult that most of us would not enjoy playing and allowed alot of unrealistic gameplay, but they informed us ahead of time that was going to happen.

I agree with you. I guess they didn't want to be saying something and then have a monster event happen that they just totally ignore. Frankly, I think the commentary is TOO chatty. They're always saying something, never giving itself a chance to react to big moments. So, which is best - acknowledge the big moment or just keep babbling. It's clearly a design decision they're comfortable with and it won't change until enough people complain about it. But, I guess most people feel there are bigger fish to fry for now...
