I noticed since the tunning set that twice on shotgun plays my QB couldn't throw the ball and in fact the passing icons wouldn't pop up. When this would happen it seemed that the locomotion was out of whack and I could turn on a dime. Has anybody else noticed this?
Im stil not sure I got the tuner patch downloaded in fact Im pretty sure it didnt because nothing ever prompted me to "download tuner patch" or whatever. Yet Im able to play online so I know im connected to the internet. Anyone know if there is a way to check to see if the patch is downloaded to my game system or not?
One thing I have noticed is that CPU RB's break a hell of a lot of tackles up the middle now, no matter how small the RB is. I wish they fix the RB vision though, hopefully they do in the patch. Because it looks odd seeing a toss play and the RB cut back to the CROWDED middle of the field when there is NO ONE to the outside.
CPU RB's still do that. I keep saying to myself everytime I see it that if he went to the outside he might have went all the way. It is as though all the CPU RB's have a up the middle truck fetish and want to truck over everybody up the middle or something.
Another thing I noticed is the QB take deep ball shots down the field more often now, which is something I didn't see before the tune update.
I have noticed this in every game i play also the RB is always breaking tackles when running up the middle. I hope EA fixes this issue.
Well...just simed a couple of years, and the Depth Chart is messed up again after year 2. Also the CPU is still hording WR and QB. Airzona had 6 QB's, another team has 10 WR, and 6 RB. However, I did notice that a better quality of players where on the teams, but this depth chart issue is a major setback.
Ok another thing I noticed post tuner update.....WR's breaking tackles now after they catch the ball. Nice to see, it totally caught me off guard though because before when a WR caught the ball they simply turned up field in a straight line and was an easy tackle.
Now.......they spin, juke, even truck DB's after the catch. Had one WR turn a 8 yard catch into a 22 yard gain because he broke 3 tackles on a hitch route. And TE's are DEADLY now for the cpu. They turn up field and truck the 1st little DB they see.
Over all I am really digging the fact the cpu teams taking shots down field throughout the game now.
Why the decision to make this available to Online Pass accounts, only? Shouldn't every player be privy to the best quality game? smh

This game is ridiculous with the breaking of tackles. Not only does the CPU break tackles, they always seem to happen when a third down conversion is needed. ALWAYS.....Not to mention, you play a weaker opponent, there is no way of getting to the QB....
One other thing I did notice. The AI is calling timeouts in the final quarter although they are behind by more than 20. The CPU even called a timeout prior to punting to me.
Oh, I also noticed that the CPU is lining up for unrealistic FG attempts. At least seven times in five games the CPU has lined up for a 57 yard FG - plus. The longest attempt was 64 yards. Missed all of them....

You should have a free 7 day trial online pass. If you already used it try making another profile you should get another 7 days, at least I did. A bit of a hassle but it's an option.

Can you use the tuner file on another profile, once it's downloaded?
Yes, It worked for me. You have to save it to a usb stick and resign the file on your pc though. Only takes a minute or so once you figure it out. This is a pretty good explanation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1EYsh8sHcg

Has anybody else had the issue where the camera zooms out when you press the right trigger to scope the field, but doesn't zoom back in when release the right trigger?
Seems like a decent QB...we are gonna have to agree to disagree...Florida has a 5 star QB with 89 THP and 87 THA...that seems realistic....im generally happy with this update.
However, I would like to to see WR ELU, Juke, and Spin ratings higher....I read the previous post from Russ and I get what hes saying. I personally think that is the one glaring issue. I dont think EA will give these ratings a serious boost, but a little one would be good.
In order to have breakout recievers, I am going to create 3-5 a year that have solid ratings IMO. Seems like a decent workaround for now
In my opinion that's all that we need to see is a few every once in a while with "running back type moves" a reasonable amount is no more than 5 (randomly a few 5*s and a few lower rated guys) which I have seen diamonds and busts so I don't see that as a problem tp the attempt at balance I also agree about the discretion between agility, speed, acc. on average but I could be wrong about this not being the case in later years
Ok, this is a good start. I mean a really really good start. However, my only big problem is the SCHEDULES! Does anyone know when those will be fixed. I mean come on now, playing only 7 of the 8 conference games is kinda cheesy. Especially when everyone else gets all 8 and I only get 7.
Not noticing any less efficiency for elastic-legged linebackers. Perhaps the QBs should be able to throw balls high and fast better. Middle of the field is still a crapshoot.
