players that support them by buying the game new are privy to the best quality game I suppose. you could say why should EA care to support people that don't support them?

just offering another view. I don't really care either way, I bought the game new and the online pass is free for me.

This game is ridiculous with the breaking of tackles. Not only does the CPU break tackles, they always seem to happen when a third down conversion is needed. ALWAYS.....Not to mention, you play a weaker opponent, there is no way of getting to the QB....

One other thing I did notice. The AI is calling timeouts in the final quarter although they are behind by more than 20. The CPU even called a timeout prior to punting to me.

Oh, I also noticed that the CPU is lining up for unrealistic FG attempts. At least seven times in five games the CPU has lined up for a 57 yard FG - plus. The longest attempt was 64 yards. Missed all of them....

So, I can expect patches to only be available to those with online pass? By that logic, the answer should be yes. Same for roster sharing(which is free to everyone, silver or gold & with or without online pass) as well as video and photo(which is only available to gold accounts I believe, but anyone who has NCAA 11) uploading.

don't think MS/Sony would allow patches to be exclusive like that.

You should have a free 7 day trial online pass. If you already used it try making another profile you should get another 7 days, at least I did. A bit of a hassle but it's an option.

Can you use the tuner file on another profile, once it's downloaded?

Re: NCAA Football 11 Live Tuning Pack 1, Available Now

Wait, I was under the impression that this tuned the defensive guys being able to jump and knock down routes a mile above their head?

I am playing LSU as Nebraska online right now, just had a wide open post route to Niles Paul who was standing on the goal line. A linebacker standing on the 18 yard line just swatted the pass down, and no that is not an exaggeration.

Seriously, how difficult is it to program *if defender is X far away from intended receiver, he will not react to the ball*? I mean, this isn't rocket science here guys, we aren't trying to put a man on the moon or anything. There should already be a line in the CPU logic that covers how a defender reacts to the ball in various position, why would this be so hard.

You knock out two birds with one stone, no more linemen knocking down passes intended 15 yards down field and no more defenders swatting away passes that shouldn't even be close to them.

EDIT: I'd love to show a replay, but EA didn't deem those plays important enough to save so no replay existed
