O.S. Full Minors V.4

Includes the Full Minors rosters with all credit to Knight165, RidinDwnKinglsey and KSig24.

Includes Faces by Knight165, Mr. Franchise and the great team of contributors to that aspect.

Includes the Stances and Accessories by Strut24 and the community at large who provided information for their local / favorite players.

Includes the Pitch and Stamina Edits by RAZRr1275 and Pope300hitter05.

Includes the majority of SCEA created players, both pitchers and hitters, re-rated utilizing the Roster Tools program using a true (non-weighted) 3 year rating average (07-08-09) as a base. These ratings were then modified in an attempt to mirror 2010 performance. Note that some SCEA created players were not modified due to lack of MLB service time and small sample set.

Full credit for this version to Bahnzo for all the work he does on the Roster Tool.

Full credit and especially thanks to ThirdDegree5803 who put in a ton of time working of this roster version.

Enjoy and please leave feedback.

V4.1 to come - Different Stamina edits."

This is what Im using and now getting started
I've decided to use the file uploaded here by HustlingOwl a couple pages back.

http://www.sendspace.com/file/onjrhl ( Is this the same file as above?)

If I followed this thread closely enough this one can be traced directly back
to Knight, with strut24, Jasnake, and HustlingOwl. I believe this to be the most accurate and final version of 4.1.

The link above is to the HustlingOwl 4.1 Opening Day 30 Team control Franchise file. I started a Yankees Franchise last night and the first 3 games made a believer out of me. I play on All-Star and last night's games were the best games I've had yet with MLB 10. I played Yankees v Red Sox opening series and took 2 out of 3 with all 3 games being decided by 1 or 2 runs. The game I lost was the first one. CC throwing a 1 hit shutout into the 8th inning. I had only scored 1 run on a Swisher home run. I should have left CC in but I brought in Joba to get the final out of the 8th and he promptly gave up a single on his first pitch. Franco pinch hit with Ortiz who planted Jaba's second pitch DEEEEEEEP to right and Paplebon saved this one. He blew the next two games in the 9th for one and 14th inning for the other.

a Blast!

Bob

hmmmm... looks like two dif. HowlingOwl files. Going to try this one out later.

Reading your post again, are you saying the only difference between this one the the last one you uploaded are the 2 SCEA CAPS?

Playing a franchise with the hustlinOwl v4.1 franchise file...just wondering what people are using for slider sets with these new franchise files and finalized updated rosters?

i'm currently and have been using for quite a while the CoreyHartsdaughter sliders...but i also play on classic pitching so i've made adjustments after reading numerous threads and posts on classic pitching sliders! but one thing i've noticed in simming some seasons and half seasons is some awful high stats for hitters...do sliders play much into simming games???

anyways hope that this post is accepted in this thread...just looking for what all you guys are playing for slider sets on these latest roster releases...

while waiting for 4.1 I started a franchise with 4.0 and used Psycho's sliders. Started the season 0-7, so now Im going to lower the skill set to veteran and using Titus's sliders

Are Titus' the ones you included with this latest franchise file you released? Didn't remember you adjusting sliders in the other franchise files you released. Thanks!

Sliders have not been touched.

So with 4.1 there is no need of special stamina values in the sliders ?

I use Psycho's sliders with RAZR edits and 1 tweak I added for me.

I play on All-Star, meter pitchng, batting from catcher pov. all visual aids for pitching are off except ball fade. auto fielding.I'm too blind to pick up the correct fielder in time. I hate to lose a game on a routine fly ball and I think the center fielder is active and it's the left fielder instead and I'm running away from the ball not to it.

Anyway I've played 10 games with the 1st of the 2 files uploaded by Howlingowl. I'm 5-5 but 3 losses were due to me swinging at every pitch and hitting nothing. 10 or more K's in the 3 losses. So I'm going to stay with these settings and levels for awhile to see if I can actually stay focused enough to win. It's a lot like real baseball in that it is very very hard to hit... and I'm using the Yankees!

I noticed these slider adjustments as well in the 2nd (corrected) franchise file that hustlin' owl posted as well...definitely look like titus's sliders.

I've been trying out coreyhartsdaughter's and psychobulk's sliders, but decided to use psychobulk's for my franchise w/ all-star hitting/pitching...I might start one with chd's w/ all-star hitting/hof pitching to compare for a few games, but I get a feeling that they're a bit too challenging for me right now...too many strikeouts and too few extra base hits!
I tried to start a slider comparison thread in the slider section, I was hoping to get some feedback from people...might be too confusing to read???

All right, let me know where I stand. I didn't get around to anything tonight- the AL is complete though. I was talking with a friend and they said it'd be stupid to upload a preview b/c someone would take it rush through the NL and claim it as their own. so i'm kind of stuck between a rock and a hard place, i'd love to let you see how awesome these are but I really don't want to have spent 30 hrs so far for nothing.

at the same time, i don't know realistically how much I'll be able to do this week w/NCAA coming out tomorrow + work + summer courses + a birthday coming up in a few days. So I'm not sure if someone wants to take the file off my hands, do edits with a tutorial that i'll provide and when your done with the NL send it back to me and I can go over your work and we can co-release it. Or I can just finish these at my leisure and it might not be until Sunday or realistically next week sometime.

If you wanna volunteer, I'd be more willing if I recognized your name and knew you were a legit guy.

Sorry, if I'm coming off as a control freak. Heck I didn't even spend most of the time on the set itself (knight, ksig, ridin, ja, td, etc.) all spent 100s more hours than me but once you spend so much time on something you really want to see it through and make sure that the product is beyond acceptable.

Hopefully you guys understand- PM me if u wanna take me up on my offer. If I get up before 5 (which i hope to but its hard) I'll be able to send the file and tutorial to u.

say, do you have the list of needed NL changes on a document file of any kind?

Well I downloaded the 4.1 rosters and hey are very very good but pitchers are still getting tired when throwing 50 or 60 pitches, they have like 25% energy left. How does editing screw up all the stamina ratings????? Also i have been screwing around with the sliders and it still does nothing at all, I even maxed out the starting and reliever stamina and nothing has changed, they are still getting tired after 50 pitches.

You may wanna double check what you downloaded. 4.1 stamina is distinctly different than 4.0. What you're describing is what seems to occur with version 4.0 only.
