I don't really think re-rating players is an answer. That doesn't help online or dynasty players at all. Granted, I don't see half the issues people are talking about. I thoroughly enjoy the demo. I'm really looking forward to the game. But you can't satisfy everyone.

Does anyone know if we will be able to use player lock on defense while keeping the default camera instead of the reverse view?

Depends on what your looking for out of the game

I know for a fact that certain ratings in the game will help in these areas of gameplay

QB's to take off and run more if they are mobile
DE's/DT's to have better pass rush moves
CPU defenders to be smarter in their Zone Coverages
QB's to throw deep and underthrow more passes or have the ball sail on them
OL to read defenders better and make proper blocking assignments
RB's to pick up blitzer's off the edge or up the middle better
RB's to recognize the open hole better
K's to have really bad misses

There are ratings in the game that can manipulate all of those factors to be better or worse during game play

But you are right for those who play extended dynasties beyond 3-4 years it doesn't help......but for me I'm not the type of guy that will play some 10 year dynasty. Therefor a roster file such as my Alumni files each year is great for me because I get the best CPU AI on the field for the 3-4 years that I go through a quick Dynasty

But there have been several guys who actually taken those rosters (Alumni) and played out a All-Time OL dynasty once the real college season ends and they have a blast using them

I'm hoping that the Tuning Sets will be a viable alternative to mass rating changes for those of us who do play extended length dynasties.

Looks like I can finally have a legit, non-cheesing, vertical offense in an EA game. I am loving the realism of the downfield passing game this game offers on even Heisman level.

IMO, tendencies need to be put into the game much like you see in basketball games like 2k10. QB tendencies to scramble, running back tendencies to bounce outside, etc.

Just played the demo, game is hot! It should be a good year for videogame sports.

I've been playing the demo all week for both Xbox 360 & PS3 (I have both systems), and overall I think this game has come a really long way from last year's version. The ESPN presentation is the real deal, the cutscenes are cool, and prehaps best of all, the locomotion is as good as advertised with the player actually moving smoothly now. However, there one BIG concern that keeps occurring in the demo and that is how easy it is to score against the CPU. I play on Heisman, and I could score easily in less than six plays. Corner routes are money, and too often the CPU DBs and SS are nowhere to be found. There were a lot of problems with NCAA 10, but one of its strengths was its balanced gameplay IMO. I'm really worried that this year's version might turn into the shootouts that NCAA 09 was where the person that had the ball last usually won the game. That is why I will probably rent this one first just to make sure. Has anyone heard whether EA had improved the coverage since E3 and the demo?

So are QB's throwing incomplete passes such as overthrows and underthrows...or are most incomplete passes caused by the recevier dropping the ball or defenders breaking up passes?

I totally agree. I see it all the time guys just bounce off the ball carrier.

I see people talking about setting D-Line gameplay to Aggressive. Can you do that in the demo? If so, how? I can't seem to find out how (I'm on 360). Any help would be appreciated .

Played a game with Florida today and I was STRUGGLING with passing. And every incompletion was either too high, too low, or too far in front of the receiver. No dropped balls, no defender break ups. It was pretty awesome.

I am totally and completely shocked at how much this game is improved over last year's game. I played all four games in the demo today and came away very impressed. The pass coverage is greatly improved finally and wide open gameplay seems to be finally gone.

The graphics surprised me. I expected it to look like Madden 10 yet it looks very different. It's neither good or bad, just, different. I do think the game looks a little dark but I am going to download the ps3 demo to compare.

At first I didn't like the play calling screens but once I got used to it I was fine.

Overall the game seems very solid. I just hope they don't break anything in the final version (call me cautious but after 09 and 10 I am still a little afraid) and instead just polish it up. From what I have seen in the demo though it looks like EA finally delivered with this game. I was quick to criticize the last two versions of the game and I feel I was justified in doing so, but I have to give EA a lot of praise from what I have seen so far and they deserve it.

After playing four games I have seen incomplete passes come from all of these reasons.

In play call screen you hit X I guess it is. It's square on PS3.

run the ball up the middle, get past the LOS, and you'll see gang tackling.

Happened to me quite a few times around the goalline. I met the DT at the goalline and he held me up along with a few other guys. Got pushed back so no TD. It was great.
