Maybe I am doing something wrong but I can't gain any yardage with the QB sneak. I had first and goal on about the 1 foot line so I tried the qb sneak on first and second down. The only thing my qb did was basically fall on the ground for no gain on both attemps.
Can anybody offer advice on how to get a little positive yardage with the qb sneak?

^^^that only thing i could say is that you can control which direction your QB will fall, just hold the stick in whatever direction as ball is snapped and hopefully you'll fall into a gap in gain a yard or two.

My biggest gripe with this game so far is the ridiculous amount of sacks that QB's break out of. Blitzing linebackers and hulking D-lineman just bounce off these guys.

I am sure it was just because I was tired and bleary eyed when playing the demo that I thought I saw appear on the screen a message that read as follows:
“Coach Tip #43. If you hold ‘A’ the CPU will assist your player and help move him and make good plays for you.”
It just couldn’t be that the game designers would turn the game into a contest of which player is best at pressing the “A” button. Unless a hypothetical option like this one was not available during online play and could be turned off when playing offline, such a “feature” could take a great deal away from the game.
Having settled this issue to my own satisfaction, I can move on to what impressed me about the demo.
On “All-American” the overall game speed seemed just a hair slower. The difference was just enough to allow controlling the offense to be more enjoyable than in last year’s version. Similarly, when running the ball, the holes in the offensive line are more apparent and easier to hit before they close up.
In NCAA 10 the defense was at a big and unrealistic disadvantage when the offence went with the hurry up offense. Now the defense, as long as it acts in haste, has access to its entire playbook even when the offense is in hurry up mode.
The kicking game seems to operate more smoothly.
The new camera angles of the automatic instant replays are wonderful.
These improvements make such a difference that one can overlook the annoying bug squishing menu sound effect and an image quality that seems a tad on the dark side.
I’m back to the demo again to see what else I can discover.

No huddle making defenses in a disadvantage is realistic. Don't know why you guys are complaining about that.
But here's a little tip from when I played against a team like Clemson which runs the no-huddle in the demo: Keep the defense in the same formation mixing it up during the no-huddle would put some players out of position which would leave you BLAZED.

I am getting frustrated with feeling like I am playing "lucky offense". Most of the time when I complete a pass or score TD it feels kind of hollow. I want to be able to drop back, read the defense and find a hole in the coverage and make the right play. Instead, I often feel like I gain yardage because the CPU went for an INT when it could have knocked the ball down or because of some kind of animation hiccup or because the defender didn't recognize his zone responsibility.
I know that defenders aren't always going to make every play and that's how it's supposed to be, I just don't get that "chess match" feel when playing against the CPUs defense. There have been quite a few times when I throw a ball where I shouldn't have, only for my player to make a "lucky catch" anyway. I think that "warp catching" is also a very big part of this issue. Maybe sliders and the tuning sets will help some of these problems in the final build.
I am also disappointed that the CPU never shifts it's Defensive Line, Linebackers or Secondary on defense, never (from what I can tell) calls defensive hot routes or audibles and has little to no pre-snap movement whatsoever. These kinds of things would really add to the "chess match" feel against the CPUs defense because it could confuse you and force you to have to make adjustments based on the CPUs shifts and audibles.

just played a game with florida st against florida. florida fumbled on their first possession and the word fumble appeared in the box where it says the down and distance. the problem here is, it stayed there for the remainder of my game. Field goals, touchdowns, pausing, calling timeouts, nothing made it go away. So if I wasn't paying attention I wouldn't know what down it was or how far I had to go.
Some games it seems to be really easy to run and other times it has been fine on AA.
My favorite match up is beating the snot out of tOSU with Miami. Funny two play stretch for me, call an inside run get great blocking and take it for six. Too bad there was holding, ok just try and keep it going. Call another inside run and guess what took it too the house again, lol.

I intercepted a ball with my feet, clearly both of them in the endzone when I caught it and it should have been a touchback but it was ruled a safety.
