Love the game thus far, however, there are way too many turnovers. Playing against Mizzou, I had 1 INT and forced two fumbles. I had two turnovers myself. So 5 turnovers in an 8 minute game.

Few things I'm questioning. Something is completely off with the player to field ratio IMO. I feel like the field needs to be bigger, or the players need to be a little smaller.

Also feel like a lot of the movements are "robotic." Maybe it's the new feel, but I'm questioning the game right now.
Feels good to see another Kansas logo in this place!

My NCAA Demo Review:

+ Pregame & Postgame
+ Equipment Upgrades
+ Pro Combats
+ Running Game
+ Blocking
+ Jacory Harris 93 ovr 85 spd
+ Ray Ray Armstrong 88 ovr 90 spd
+ Cutscenes (though I would like to see alot more)

- Defense has no I.Q. whatsoever (on heisman)
- Too Easy To Run w/ QB (had over 100 yrds w/ blaine gabbert on heisman)
- Ratings (Aldarius Johnson 4.54 has 96 spd, Travis Benjamin 4.26 92 spd)
- Brandon Harris (First Team All-American w/ 88 ovr)
- Unrealistic Replay Angles
- No Dreads (had to bring that up)
- Commentary
- Poor Open Field Tackling
- No Kick Return Left & Right
- Feels kind of like last year's game in a sense

I rate the demo a 7.5, didnt quite live up to the hype IMO but improved nonetheless...ready for the full game to release

Agreed. The open field tackling and the replay thing is a big problem.

As for the dreads, something that should have been taken care of a long time ago.

anyone else share the demo and then have it just not do anything after showing you the unlocked pro combats? I've sat here for about 10 minutes now, and can't do anything but exit the demo via the Dashboard(PS3)

Thanks in advance.

running game has a very smooth feel to it..i like that

So far everything is great. My only complaint is that you can never really get a sack. The QB has the Madden problem of releasing the ball into the ground every time he gets hit. Other than that, great!

How do i download the demo?..everytime I click download it says its for xbox gold members only. Do I have to pay an upgrade to gold in order to just play the demo? Thought it would have been free like other demos I've gotten. Please help..

I agree, I thought the player models looked excellent.

Played all four games a while go and I was pleased. I'm not good at giving detailed thorough impressions on...anything...but the one thing that stood out to me was how fluid and natural it felt. I agree with others that the gamespeed being slowed down is a great feeling. It looked to me like a realistic college football game, I was getting decent pressure on the QB, and a wide open receiver dropped a ball every now and then.

The team entrances was what I expected, I have seen some people on here say they're disappointed, I'm not..but I'm not blown away either.

Overall everything looks great, I'm really looking forward to having this in my hands on the 13th.

This was my first time playing NCAA since...09 or 08 I think. & I did not even bother getting the 2010 demo or game because the horrible reviews.

But this demo lived up to the hype. And I can say i will buy on July 13th

Was about to add the same thing. That stands out to me too that the PA announcer is 10x's more realistic. Small change, but huge impacts.

Has anybody tried subbing out their O-Line through the depth charts with kickers and WR's and such? I am wondering if Offensive line ratings actually matter this year.

# 615 Victory23 @ 06/14/10 07:32 PM
Just played OU/Texas, and I liked that the announcers would correctly recognize a big hit now. I tried a sweep play with Tre Newton and he got DESTROYED. Nessler actually said he got hit really hard or something to that effect.

This is what I expect from a next-gen football game. Offense is a little to powerful based off the demo. But all in all I feel how I felt about M10 last year.

So I just picked Florida in the UF/FSU game, and EA kind of messed up our uniforms. The helmet for the pro combats is supposed to be white, but it's orange.

Haha, the rest of the uniform is there, the pants, jersey, shoes, etc. Just the helmet isn't there.

Also, the stadiums look absolutely gorgeous this year. Graphically, the game is up there with MLB The Show IMO.
