The crowd now reacts more dynamically too...They stand up when you break free, or throw a long pass and when the play ends they clap and jump up and down...the little things are dope!!

The tOSU roster is actually low 60's, I'm assuming these roster aren't what we'll see in the finished product anyway.

I counted, and Florida has 15 freshman.

Played about 2 and a half games. I'm enjoying it, it really does feel different and better. I'm pretty rusty and needed a final td drive to win my first game as mizzou.

Youre probably right. That seems like a good number for Florida though.

How's the punt return blocking? Anyone

Found a small bug

Well playing as Florida......FSU scores on a pass and I commit a Roughing the passer penalty,

instead of keeping the TD and declining it, they accept it and have to score again.

Here are my impressions, as someone who has played literally 1000 next-gen NCAA games against the CPU. I play on Heisman.

GOOD

Locomotion - The first time I played as a DE I realized the power of this addition. I think this will really separate the men from the boys in the game. I do believe the WR's still make their cuts way too quickly.

Running animations - though it feels a little weird at first, I think the players look much more lifelike in general

Playbooks/legit no huddle - the no huddle offense was quite tough to play against defensively, which I thought was awesome.

Presentation - the game looks good, and the presentation is pretty nice. As I knew would happen, I began skipping them literally after my first game. I just don't care. I'll never understand why people cry so much over this.

CPU out-of-bounds logic - finally, they actually cut upfield rather than going out of bounds.

A legitimate NEED to use slide protect - I learned early on that slide protect is not only useful, but required to protect yourself on Heisman.

BAD

Playcalling
- ugh. what to say? I've used ask corso for years to even the playing field. Looks like I'll be doing it again this year. Still WAY too many 4 deep zones, QB runs with a pocket passer, and with the all new 120 ways to win, why does it tell me that Texas likes to spread the ball out and then put me in a 2 TE, I-FORM on a 2nd and 9. I mean WTF are you DOING?

Deep game - Good news: receivers can actually get open deep. Bad news: it happens all the time and 80% of the time they drop the ball with no one around.

new playcalling system -UGGHHHH

TERRIBLY, HORRENDOUSLY, GAME-BREAKINGLY AWFUL
CPU Screen game - FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CAN YOU FIX THIS EA?? For 3 freaking years, the CPU has been completely unable to throw a screen pass to the RB. In 3 games this morning, every single screen play I saw the CPU run resulted in a sack. 6 freaking screen plays, 6 freaking sacks. I'm tired of 15 sack seasons for DT's. This will break the game if it stays remotely this bad.

CPU CONTROLLED PLAYERS on HUM TEAM PASS RUSH - I can't tell you how many times in the demo the QB dropped back, everyone was covered, so he literally stood there for 5+ seconds and then found a wide open WR somewhere in my zone. It's so on and off. One play, 3 DL will meet at the QB. The next play, they'll all get plastered on their butts. It's AWFUL. There is no in-between. I'm praying this can be fixed with sliders. Otherwise, it will be another terribly frustrating year for slider-makers.

OVERALLA step forward in many areas, a step sideways or even backwards in some core gameplay elements. I have a good feeling about the playability of this game, but I think it will take a couple of patches to realize it's potential. First on the docket and undeniably crucial is the CPU screen game. Second is the pass rush. Admittedly, these things could be tweaked in the retail version and be much better. I'm not holding my breath. Start complaining now, because I don't want to see this game mired in mediocrity for a couple of issues when it has the chance to be the greatest next-gen version by a mile.

Really impressed with the demo. Didn't read anything really about this game, very fluid gameplay. I wouldn't say perfect, but this game seems fun and pretty authentic. Might be buying a college football game again! It's been awhile...

Well, let me put it this way.

I used Clemson's LE #93 (94 overall) and I completely tore up Mizzou's RT (81 overall). I probably had about 4 knockdowns and 2 or 3 sacks.

Then I used Texas' LE #32 (89 overall), and I struggled to get pressure against OU's RT (90 overall).

It seemed pretty realistic

is it me or does the cpu jump every snap?

That's strange, because every time I've seen the cpu use a screen, it worked. I haven't gotten a sack on a screen yet.

I did notice that the clock doesn't stop when you go out of bounds. This cost me a game since I was tackled out of bounds with :03 left, and didn't call timeout, and the clock ran down without me noticing.

So far I've seen the CPU accept every penalty, no matter what...this includes a third down penalty that would either set me back, and replay third down or force me to punt on 4th. The CPU went with replay third down, where I got the first down. Epic facepalm.

They should accept the penalty there. The problem is, the penalty is in wrong. If you accept that call, since it's a personal foul, the TD still counts and it's assessed on the kickoff. Weird.

I played the OU/Texas game.

I loved it. It actually felt like the Red River Rivalry.

They finally got the atmosphere down for this game. The field looks perfect, they even have the piece of cotton at midfield. The crowd is split down the middle 50/50 with OU and Texas fans. Even outside of the field of play they have the Red River Rivalry logos everywhere just like they do in real life. They also had the players entering through the tunnel.

The atmosphere really adds to the game!

So far I'm liking it but I haven't really got deep into the gameplay yet.

ugh, i absolutely hate when it would do this in NCAA 10. Things like that can completely ruin fun, close games. I hope that this would be fixed, but i really doubt it.

Say whaaaat? There are neutral site games in this game?? Does that mean
Boise State vs. Va Tech could be at Redskins stadium? God I wished this would really happen...I am going to that game

After playing the game some more on Heisman, my initial optimism for the game has dropped a little bit. I am starting to see too many WRs speed burst ahead to make catches that they shouldn't be making. I had a TE that was being perfectly covered by a CB just magically "warp" ahead to make a catch that should be incomplete. I am also seeing the same things on defense with CBs.

My DTs are also getting pancaked way too much on Heisman whenever I try to do spin and rip moves. I don't know if I am doing something wrong, but me seeing my DT flat on his stomach time and time again is getting old. I am also getting little to no pressure on the QB with just my front four.

Hopefully these issues are fixed in the retail version, or at least maybe sliders can help some. I have a sinking feeling that neither is the case, as these issues have been in the game for years now. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

The graphics, lighting and especially the grass textures are awesome though.
