I dont think they should stop having them. Its a way to reward some of its most visable playerbase by allowing them to see the game early, spend time with the devs of their beloved sport, and get a nice mini vacation out of it.
@Rynoaid . We are nost asking for mini reviews, nor asking for you to reveal anything you arent supposed to. Most of us work in the business world and understand people on both sides of the fence. What has pist me off was when we were flat out lied to. I will not quote posts atm to embaress people, but time and time again we have been flat out lied to.
One recent example was when a video was released that showed some horrific pursuit angles that allowed interceptions to be returned for TDs everytime. Those same pursuit angles shown in the videos allowed anyone with the ball to gain massive yards everytime. As soon as those videos were released, the forums erupted into WTF was that , that we just saw? Never to be outdone, here came the community day police brigade in full strenght to assure us that the video was just saw was some sort of alpha, bravo, charlie pre-hyper fighting release edition and not to worry that those issues were NOT in the final build they had played. The forums quieted back down because we were assured that this was not an issue. Fast forward to release day....mass hysteria again. Somehow all the pursuit angles were EXACTLY like we had witnessed in the videos. On comes the community day police brigade to the defense that somehow the game made a 180 degree turn from the day they left the mothership, to the 2 months release date.
I can point out at least a dozen other issues just like this.
This is what my problem is. I have zero problems with the CD people being under a NDA etc, but when we get flat out lied to year after year, they lose all credibility for the entire group.

I agree man, i don't really listen to people who say "don't believe your own lying eyes, believe me instead". And anyone that gets fooled year after year must have something wrong with them.

So officially your saying the copy you played is nothing like the video that this thread is about?

i can only comment on features as they are released.... and remember, the copy i played WAS alpha... a good 4 months before the game gets release. I played 3 different versions in 3 days, all of them different in some way.

Play the Way the Schools Do—Run the “no-huddle” spread, triple option, wishbone, wild hog, or pistol offenses the same way as your favorite schools. Dictate the tempo of the game when running the spread as you look to the sideline for the plays, or break the huddle and study the defense at the line of scrimmage when operating a traditional, pro-style offense. The game is in your hands.

So in any of the versions you played did it look like the videos?
@ 0:38 I like how he gets up field after making the catch. In 10 it would take the WR forever to get up field after catching the pass.

You missed the point..
In real life, the DE wont wait until he is engaged, before trying beat the LT. If he did that in real life, he loses.
The DE isnt taking an angle at the OL, he doesnt go outside shoulder, he doesnt try to dip inside, he just goes straight, engages, then tries to beat the OL.
What this means is another year of guys just bolting out of the pocket and skating outside of edge rushers, and OLB blitzes like theiy arent there.
Why do you think that the only blitzes people run in this game are A-Gap nano's and corner blitzes? LOL.
I echo sportguy's post...the only blitzes that usually work in the game are CB or outside safety blitzes. Most of the other blitzes by anyone rather than a DB almost never work.
