I liked what I saw, much improved from last year IMO. Looking forward to getting my hands on the demo

Haven't finished the video yet, but my initial observation is that the graphics as a whole look great.

I like the feedback it gives you after you swing or pitch.

Thought it was great the CPU walked Lee

dive back to first base looks horrible

One thing I noticed is that many of the game informer videos seem to have framerate probs. Check the Skate 3 videos as well to see what I mean.

Not digging the hitting view at all. Pitcher looks miles away, and takes out the whole watch the pitch from the hand scenario you do in baseball.

I notice the lack of Phillips, and all I hear is Kruk mostly for the color. Is it me or is the commentary different big time now? Sounds more like The Show now with the three man, than it did last year.

Ironic.

Yes hunt i like that its a nice touch the camera angle on Aramis ramirez's walk is nice too. NOTE: he is skipping through presentation with A button. Most of the time.
And Check Oliver Perez pitch count in the third inning and the ball strike ratio !!! Hell yea 25:19 Strike-ball ratio .. Impressed and still watching

Surprised - I like what I saw. I still think 2k does a good job of adding individual chatter heard in-between pitches. Good stuff.

I love it

Miles ahead of 2k9

I think we are going to enjoy it this year

Love love love all the new sounds within the game. Very fresh feel. I dont have a gripe right now besides maybe the pickoff I am watching a meticulous second time to examine every few seconds

Last year they had a ton of camera options for hitting and pitching, so I'm guessing it'll be the same this year, if not better in terms of camera options.

PROS:

1. Wrigley looks great. So do the fans and the animations. Seems to be smoother transitions.

2. Bat sounds...FINALLY!

3. Commentary sounds good.

4. Presentation/overlays/camera cuts were really cool..

CONS:

1. Holy hell the uniforms. Look terrible. The emblems, the numbers...both proportionally terrible compared to their real-life counterparts.

2. The "name" on the backs of the jerseys look the same for every team. Anyone else notice this? Look at the other videos and stills...its like they all use the same font. Its kind of a bad font too.

3. They all have fred mcgriff helmets.

4. The batting view, if it cannot be changed, is a game-breaker.

Wow! 1 copy please! After looking at that gameplay, I feel as if its a whole new game. Looks kinda MVP like which is great. Love the new camera and that I can work the count like MVP. Graphics and animation look on par with the best.

WOW, after the video, came away much disappointed, honestly there new things added to presentation, as far as gameplay goes, seems still like same old 2k to me.

Was rooting for this game to come back strong, from that vid, ouch!

To add on:

-Not a big fan of Kruk, but I'll live.
-Loved the CPU walking a player, you could tell it was Oliver Perez pitching by his wildness.
-Lighting is great.
-Looks like the changed Soriano's stance slightly, not a big fan on the change because his hands aren't that close to his body. But this isn't a big deal or anything, just a minor gripe.

Overall, I'm definitely more confident about the game now.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the hitting view either. I'll probably go back to what it was last year.

That is what I got from is sadly.

Everything just looks too fast. I was hoping they toned down on that this year, but it still remains. I am not talking the skipped presentation, the ball flies hard off the bat, and just dies. Animations speed up and slow down, just as it did in 2K hockey last year. Takes the immersion out. The crowd in the distance looks lifeless too. Almost cardboard. All small things that add up for feel to me.

Looks like a much better game. Not perfect, but pretty good.

They did a good job of establishing the grand view of the fields. The lighting looks much better than previous versions. Kruk and Phillips need to interact more. Right now they sound too separated, almost like a "my turn now your turn" feel there. I do like how Phillips stutters once and says, "our" twice. Nice natural touch.

Probably the best part of this video is seeing the CPU hold off on two strikes.
