I'm starting a Kentucky dynasty right now and would like to see more blowouts when I play weaker teams.
Despite some of the game's frustrations I don't believe I've played a game that has made me changes my defense as much as NCAA 10. Which is good as it turns into a chess match.
This game can be great but really needs that patch to fix some issues. Please EA, one patch is all we ask.

That's crazy. I still haven't opened my copy my fiancé got me for Xmas. This may def make me return it and get something else.
Can somebody please tell me if UC Bearcats actually have their Arena in the game this year, or do they have a made up one like in 09?

i'm not home atm. can someone double check to see if the cuse play a 2-3? i played against them once when i first got the game a month ago and i thought i remember them playing the 2-3 for most of the game.
btw, does temple still play a lot of 2-3 irl?

Im playing the Cuse right now using Kansas. I won the tip and my 1st possesion they were in man, then my 2nd possesion they switched to a 2-3.

So to the guys who played the Cuse, they start in man on the first possession then go to zone pretty much the whole game? That's about what I remember when I played them a while ago. I think every team starts in man for the first possession. If that's in fact the case that's an extremely minor pet peeve.
I just have to say I've had this game since the day it came out and I must say I am still addicted to it. I don't want to play anything else.

I FINALLY got my copy through the other day after stock issues and stupid Christmas post. From the first trailer I really wanted this game to be good and was genuinely gutted when I read the reviews, initial comments, etc. Thing was, the presentation just kept calling to me so I figured I would have to at least try the game to get it out of my system and whack it on ebay if I couldn't play it.
I'm SO glad I did get it and it was definitely worth the wait! I have to agree with a lot of people in that it's not perfect, but it's just so much damn fun. The presentation is truly amazing (my friend who isn't a sports fan at all was even blown away and just kept saying "It's like watching a real game!"over and over), but the gameplay is FAR better than I was expecting. The well known issues just don't bother me to be honest, but I think that's because I'm only seeing them very rarely (using bluengold's sliders). Not had a freeze yet either, but it's early days.
I'm finding the move's a lot more instinctive and easier to pull off than in 2K as well. Granted there isn't the variety though.
Again, like others, I really can't see me going back to CH2K8 now. Credit to EA this year that I can finally retire NFL2K5 and CH2K8.
I'm sure the presentation is blinding me to some of the faults, and maybe that'll wear off, but for the time being I can't remember playing any sports game before where I've had a smile on my face the whole time.

Is it safe to say that if I like NBA Live's pace, gameplay mechanics, and control scheme (Which I do), that I'll like this game just as much?
I just finished my first season and one major observation with regards to the NCAA Tourney... there were ZERO UPSETS. The "biggest" surpirse was that a two seed beat a one seed. I was pretty shoked. The other strange thing was that there were eleven games that were lopsided victories by 40+ points... the biggest being Kentucky over Louisville by 54 points!!! Ouch.
Overall, I had a blast my first season and I am looking forward to season two... let's hope we will see some upsets next tourney though
